Along the roads...........

As there is soooo much grass around...........over the last few weeks I have noticed all the amazing grasses and different colours and types of heads..........here are some pics taken when I have just stopped and snapped..........wished I had my big camera this day but only had my baby camera but she did do very well I think..........it is just so pretty driving around and I have been doing a bit of that........
We have had the most amazing summer so far..........I have not seen so much grass around in summer for .............hmmmmmm I don't remember how long so it must have been a long time............and we have had the mildest summer so far the temps have been very kind.........hardly a HOT day so far.........the power bill will be good hardly using the air conditioner.........I keep telling the kids take it all in and enjoy as this is not the "norm" although I could get used to it immediately.........

Take a look around and see what you can see along the roads..........

So much natural inspiration to make another quilt, or stitcheries...! Wonderful pictures Donna.
We once had all kinds of grasses in our garden. Midas cat loved to eat them, his throat was full of cuts and he had to have surgery. We removed all the grasses. Now he eats our bamboo. He’s so confused, thinks he is a Panda bear!

Your photos are awesome, as always. When I look out at my road, all I see is snow! It will change one of these days, though.

I know I have told you before, but it is so refreshing to catch a warm hint of summer when it is so cold and rainy wintery here. Fun pics!! Very nice.

Such an immense variety and all lovely - perhaps soon the snow here will go away and we will see some green!

Bwah, bwah! I miss the grasses and other native greenery here. The season for such is still a ways off. Such simple beauty that we can take for granted, which I guess having four seasons can make us better appreciate - all the more when the season here is white while yours is green. ;o) Thanks for the great photos!

Love your pictures. I love grasses and whenever I am in a botanical garden I go to the grass gardens first to see what they have.

Hey, it wouldn't let me comment at the most recent post, but let me in here.
KLove your nature pics, all that rain must be good for something!
I had a bit of high school craft floating around at Mum's but think it was all (fortunately) burnt in a recent clean!Tracey
