Farm Day and some links.........

Lots of stuff to say here................something for everyone.............
As so many have enjoyed my farm posts if you live in OZ this may be of interest......................
Fun, Friendship & Understanding
Farm Day is when a farm family hosts a city family for a day of real hands-on experiences and a greater understanding of the day-to-day life of the farming family.
If anyone is interested Farm Day is on on the 24 and/or 25th May 2008.........you can register your interest to go to a farm for the day or travel further and have a weekend in the country vising a farm and other places in country area. As far as I can tell it is Australia wide.
.................................
Now I have found some new blogs lately......will share them now but only if you go and check them out..........Don't look now!.............Izilulu's Stuff............... Highland Quilter..................Down by the creek.............The Chocolate Cat.............. A spoon full of sugar..........Amee's Blog
..............................
Natalie is launching some new patterns so check them out........
..............................
And finally if you want to read an amazing poem head to Kate @ Raggedy Rambles and have a read.................it is long but so worth it.............make sure people know they are special in your life..............she did the post for ANZAC day.............
.....................................
That's enough for now...........man it takes a bit to put a lot of links into a post............
...............take care............

That sure is a lot of links, but I am pretty sure I followed them all, so they work! Will take a little time to work through the new bloggers though, thanks for the heads up.

Farm Day is such a great idea! My son in Sydney just had a farm day a few weeks ago -- the school arranged for all the visiting students to each go spend the weekend with a farm family. He LOVED it! Then a week or so ago, his farm family came to the "big city" and he met them again while they were there. He's having the time of his life in Australia!!!

OMG !!! So many links, so little time to check them all out.
I see I know a couple of them but I'll head over to the others in time.
Thanks for sharing. Only 2 more sleeps......

I would love farm day if I could come to your farm. I would even help you with all that horrid grass, if you gave me a scone afterwards !!!

Although secretly I would prefer "sewing room Day " where we all get to visit each others sewing rooms.
