hhhhhmmmm........

Well not sure what is going on here..........I had have so many plans of things to do and get done and NOTHING.........NOTHING has happened..........well maybe not completely nothing as I managed to start 3 more projects and I have fiddled with them but still NOTHING.........nothing finished for OPAM.......nothing really has got me motivated...........well for longer then 5 minutes anyway.......I have wonderful things [shopping and presents] to show you and I haven't even been motivated to take pics to show you those........
School holidays are nearly over which is quite sad and we have had a nice time together at home - lots of time lazing about and in the pool......and I have done lots of swimming exercises while in the pool so I suppose that is good[hope you reading this Kerry]......
.....anyway we'll see when I get back into the groove to finish something........Nothing that a good nights sleep wouldn't fix either [sick little boy hasn't helped] and some cooler weather would be good........but we still have lots of summer left yet...........
Go and check out this lovely blogger - Luv n Hugs we had a nice day together this week.............no sewing but LOTS of chatting..........
.........take care til next time.....Chookyblue.........

You've spent alot of time together as a family, that's worth more than finished quilty projects in my book. Don't fret, when the holidays are over you'll probably get back into the swing of things

Love and hugs Gina xxx

I know how you feel, motivation is a great thing when you have it, and frustrating when you don't.

I am really unmotivated too - keep thinking of things I want to do but not actually getting round to them. Have the attention span of a goldfish just now.

your mojo will come back- I didn't sew much during our summer and then the machine sat covered for 3 weeks after Christmas. I do believe the only sewing I did was JoJo's runner and then one for myself. Finally after almost 2 years I dragged a box of 2 1/2" strips to finish the blocks for the class I had with Bonnie Hunter. I bought a beautiful kit to make a wall hanging at our guild's quilt show in November and there it sits :( I did open the directions but no motivation for it :( It will come one day and they'll be a ton of finishes all in a row :)

I had big plans for getting stuff done yesteday too. A short list, doable in a day, yet it was 9 p.m. before I got No. 1 done. Today I will attempt No. 2. Wonder how many hours it will take!

Sounds like a lot of us out there are finding it hard to get back into the swing of things. Sewing is the one thing I have got back in to. Now work is another subject.....
Hope to see something soon.
Sending you some sewing MOJO your way. xx

Spending time with your children IS the most important thing...the rest of us out here in bloggerville can just wait a minute! (Even though secretly I check every day to see what my fellow bloggers are up to and have missed you :) I hope you are having fun in your sunkissed world, over here in the states it's downright cold! I'm hearing you!!! I had a good start to January and then decided I needed school to go back and the routine would sort me out, after 1 day I'm exhausted and overwhelmed again!!!! Sometimes we just need to slow down a little and January was your time to spend time with the kids and unwind. You'll be back in the swing of things soon!! The heat certainly wouldn't help to motivate you.
