feeling a little ho hummm..................i'm just going to kick back and relax............I have several things to show you I made for xmas presents but I don't have the pics organised and posts written..........so i'll just wait til I get the motivation................which could come soon or could take days................
&&&
I am so happy your love all the gifts the girls made in the SSCS..........I am so happy and proud of all the girls who have done beautiful gifts for the partners............2 parcels arrived last week and one yesterday so we have 4 naughty parcels that need to arrive fast..............I have not given up on them yet.............they haven't run away from home completely they are just taking the scenic route.............
BUT
I am definitely NOT taking names for 2011 now.............sorry
(a nasty thistles gorgeous flower)
I feel a little overwhelmed with a barrage of new swaps,  UFO's, challenges and lists for so many different things...............all so very exciting for most  - but I am feeling a little over whelmed..........I have one or 2 to join but for the most will sit back and watch.............
Catch you later..............

Way to go Donna, kick back and relax. Why don't you concentrate on your GJ and I'm sure that will make you feel a bit more motivated, if you remember you started the Stitch-a-long for your benefit so come on get it done.

chop.... chop

Maybe this is the calm 'after' the storm! You deserve a break after all that SSCS and GJ organising all year - hope you enjoy a break and do what ever takes your fancy.

Take a break!! You have been very busy lately. I have to say the same, there is so much out there at the moment about getting things done - I won't be signing up for anything as I still have no more time this year so how would I get any more done LOL

I'm a bit like you with the swaps, challenges etc.....I love the idea and love watching them but I just cannot commit to too much as I get very overwhelmed and know I would be setting myself up for failure.....LOL....
You did a great job with the SSCS....and the gifts are awesome!
So many talented people out there!

I hear you, Donna. There is a plethora of swaps, challenges, quiltalongs, etc., all starting up and it is so tempting to sign up for them. It's "only" one block per week, "only" one finish per month, "only" one step per day. And then you look at what all of those "onlys" have added up to. I signed up for one UFO challenge and am sort of quietly doing one weekly block for another on-line project. And watching a lot of other things people are doing.

I loved the tour of what every one gave/received in sscs. I appreciate that part of the swap and of course the time it takes just for you to post all of the pictures. Yes it is dangerous out there in blogland right now. I must resist temptation, I think I've gotten in trouble that way before. We should have a group entitled "I'm going to finish what I have here before I join anymore swaps, challenges, boms"!

R & R is what you need after all your SSCS busy-ness! Lots of lists & groups in Blogland at the moment...why add pressure if you don't need to????

Have to say I agree with everybody else you do nee to take some Donna time and just do what YOU want to do, I too would love to get into everythings out there just now but hey if I do nothing will get done properly then I would get depressed with it all thiking it was me that was useless soo I'm resisting only doing what I really want to do.

R&R is GREAT - I did a little of that myself for a couple of weeks - I'm finally getting the itch to get back to sewing something. Thanks for all you do!!!!

When do you have time to quilt just for yourself?
