Fires burning.................

There is a definite chill in the air..............winter is on it's way for
the next few days with snow forecast down south that means the winds will be
chilly here.............last night I lit the fire for the first time this
autumn/winter........love the warmth of a wood fire........no frosts yet but
maybe this week..........

The pic is from one of the little campoven fires we had a few weeks
ago..............

If I am quiet don't worry just worked out I have a few thousand km's to
cover in the next week - ten days............
..............bit like a revolving door here..........who has what kid doing
what, where and when............aaarrrhhh..............
Catch you later

We are having frosts and cold south winds now, but most days are still beautiful. Our old house is freezing, needs two fires!! Treasure those km's, they grow up so fast.....

I love a good fire in the winter time.....its spring over here for us, but still a bit chilly in the evenings.....a good time to have a wiener roast.......

It is cool here now too. We are used to Adelaide winters which are not really that cold. There was ice on the windscreen this morning. My Bradley used some water from the tap to disperse it (which always works in Adelaide) but it just got thicker! I guess Melbourne is different. We have heating, but a fire is irresistable. Wish we had one of those!

Funny to realize we in Virginia are just enjoying spring and that summer will so be here while you are looking for winter.

Summer is not here yet--and we have had lots of rain. Last night another 1.5". Corn is planted but soybeans aren't done yet. Most years we average 22-24", but so far we're way above normal. Green is much preferred over dry brown! Love to read what's happening where you live, and seeing the pictures. the sky is usually bright blue and clear--but rain clouds are here tonight. Any suggestions for "milo" substitutes--the cookies looked yummy!
