bits and pieces..........

This was some of my sewing from Thursday at the cows............
this is a Gail Pan stitchery.....
bit challenging as I only had a black pen (permanent and too dark) with me or white pen (which doesn't show up on white fabric).............so it was lots of creative stitching..........but I think it is pretty much right............
this new calf was at the cows............super cute.......resting her hoof on her nose..........
playing with some EPP stuff...........
got some chickens from some friends.............all different varieties.......they breed them......
Last weekend I found an echinda crossing the road in my travels.............
usually they roll themselves up very quickly so I hardly ever get views like this...........
it was heading straight for me............
too spikey to touch................
have a great weekend.............lamb marking here so I am off to the cows............what a great excuse to miss the sheep work...............

Catch you later..............

Life in the country brings all sorts of surprises. We have seen a lot of echidnas around here lately. Some of the aboriginal elders say they are a sign of big rain so we will see???? Love the stitchery. I am hoping to have a day of sewing this weekend.

Your stitching is lovely, cute little bird.
Baby animals, a calf, chickens, they are all beautiful. And the echidna, wow, what a treat to see one not curled up in a ball.
Enjoy your weekend,
Anne xx

What cute little babies...I love the chicks, I have always wanted some but hubby will not allow that.
I am thinking of doing this stitch one too, but I have acutally forgotten the website that they are on too. These days my memory is one thing to be determined.

Babies, how nice. I'm too silly to think about the realities of farming animals but love your animal photos, especially babies. The stitchery turned out great. I don't know how often I go to Thursday sewing & find I don't have a needle or a pen or 1 of my 7 hexies has escaped - haha, all good fun. Tracee xx
