Queens birthday long weekend.......

We have a long weekend to celebrate the Queens Birthday..........and I must say it has been wonderful to see all the highlights of the Jubilee celebrations in the UK this week.
She constantly amazes me how gorgeous she looks in her outfits.........
Also how much she does at her age............
How many people turned out regardless of the weather............
Diamond Jubilee celebrations ... Queen Elizabeth II.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend with family/friends.......

.........take care til next time.....Chookyblue.........

I'm not a monarchist, but I do respect her for all she has done and achieved. What an amazing life. Hope you get the chance to recharge over the weekend, ready for next week.

The Queen always looks so lovely. The Jubilee celebrations have been wonderful. What a pity it rained for the flotilla down the Thames.

There's a reason why they call that color "royal blue" isn't there?

Have a great weekend. What an amazing life when you consider she was Gemmas age when she took the throne, what a responsibility.

I am really pleased to see the Queen looking so happy and healthy.
After all the stresses of the last decade she was starting to look old and crabby.
Now she looks as beautiful as she did whilst I was growing up. 30 years ago.
I am a very proud AUSTRALIAN that loves out British roots.
Every time my kids ask me to sing the national anthem I was sing God Save The Queen. Old habits die hard.
GOD SAVE THE QUEEN.

it has been a really good jubilee week in spite of the weather! Its been lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves and getting on together. Most of our villages nearby have all had their bunting up and flags flying which look just brilliant!
