28c..........

42c 28c...........yep the temperature that I would prefer as my maximum daily temp.......
....NOT the minimum over night temp.......
......currently 42c here.........41c yesterday......
bloody awful day............windy too......sucks the life out of everything...........

I was swimming in the pool at 6.00AM this morning for an hour...........it was glorious...........
my poor garden is struggling............this is when I wished I had a tiny town garden...........
not a big country one........constantly chasing hoses at daylight and dusk.........

This was at lunch time...........Lucky I am shut in the lounge room at the moment in the cool.........
but the rest of the house is horrible..........
I nearly melted when i went out and took these pics for you.............
What little sewing that's happening is only secret sewing so nothing to show except my new needlecase which I haven't snapped a pic of yet...........
If you're in a cool spot enjoy it..........Suze and Jodie I'm feeling for you girls..........
We had a black snake in the chook yard this morning too and Mr Chooky wasn't here to get rid of it........the chooks will have to fend for themselves til he gets home...........
Catch you later..............

I am tucked up in the one room with aircon too. It's just awful weather and I hope it cools down for you soon.

Nasty here as well Chooky....

What a shocker! It is fairly hot here but there is a breeze blowing and with the fans on, it's not too bad. Haven't resorted to aircon so far. Hope it cools down for you soon.

Yes Chook 28 is a lovely maximum. "Only" in the 30s here but the humidity is so draining. It is almost air-con o'clock and wine time!
Sending you cool thoughts, hope there is a break in the weather soon.

A pool is the way to go on days like this! The agapanthus look like they are happy enough - thank goodness for heat resistant plants like them :) take care down by the chook shed...and let's hope that if your snake doesn't have the decency to move, he at least stays away from the house!

Personally I prefer 25/26 LOL
You poor thing, I think we got to 39 today but I was inside most of the time with the air on. Still worked up a sweat cleaning out a wardrobe though!!

Yuck! That heat is terrible. Thank goodness you have the pool and a cool room to retreat into. I hope Mr Chooky dealt with the snake, or it had the decency to move on. Here's hoping it cools down soon for you.

Our Arizona temps are finally cooler... I do know the heat as we had a long very hot summer this year. Try to think snow maybe it will cool you!

I really feel for you - it was bad enough in Western Sydney yesterday afternoon and last night, really unpleasant and uncomfortable, so I can't imagine what those extra few degrees must have been like. We've had a nice cool change come through this morning with some rain so I've opened all the doors and windows to let the cool air come in and sweep out all the hot, stickiness. I hope you've had a change too.

Wasn't it shocking! We harvested early in the morning, and went to late the night before, then stopped and had a midday siesta! Way too many fires are happening around here already too... Hope that snake was just passing through..

It must be depressing to have that heat day after day and no rain! I just can´t imagine how it must feel.
