holidays.............

mostly I am a glass 1/2 full type of person............. occasionally I get 1/2 empty and I am feeling a bit that way this week...........
I've/we've been busy..........we've had 2 lots of visitors...........busy work days..........Mr Chookyblue and the kids have been out most days fencing while I worked..........some cattle work...........we are supposed to be shearing but we are delayed with that job so hoping that will be this coming week...........
everyone is a little tired so a quieter weekend will be in store.........and no hoping in the car to go anywhere for anything...............
lots of things on my mind............so much to do and not enough time to do it all in.....
..pulled here and there.......
I know we all have times like this so I am sure it will pass - it is nice I am also not trying to manage the school bus and that routine and I have next week off work - some time at home which I am sure will be helping with shearing...............maybe I will be 1/2 full again.......but then again I could be working with sheep.....so maybe not.........
really need some rain too..........i'll enjoy my time with the family.......I just feel so tired all the time....
if you have school holidays at the moment I hope you are having a nice time.........
and such a nice cool change today........under 19degC most of the day.......so nice....
                .........take care til next time.....Chookyblue.........

Hope you can get a bit more rest, nothing worse than being tired all the time although in reading your post, it seems that may not happen for a while. My grandson is back at school now after the holidays. Can't believe how fast the time goes between drop off and pick-up. Hugs....

Never enough hours in the day - I imagine that is especially true when you have youngish children and a farm to keep going. Try to rest and have a bit of time out - a big hug - hope the glass is half full soon.

We've just been back from hols one week, so I'm looking forward to this weekend to just chill. Could have raced off to melbs to quilt convention, but I think my time would be better spent hibernating out in my garden and breathing deeply for awhile. Did I tell you my AS child ran away from home?? Found him out at the Uni...he'd booked himself into the res! Didn't think to tell anyone! The glass will fill again.

Hoping for a bit of catch up time for yourselves over this weekend. It is hard to find that time when being pulled in every direction and so much needing to be done. We are all thinking of you but that doesnt ease the work load. Take care. xx

I so relate! Today, I took the day off, despite numerous things that "needed" to get done. It felt great. Made me realize that I am responsible for the pressure I put on myself. Hope you find your balance! Hugs!

Hang in there Donna -- if your winters are a bit like ours, outside work slows down and you can take a break inside a bit. And you're lucky you don't have Christmas thrown into the middle of your winter!

Hope you can get back to that half glass full feeling. I'm a lot like you at the moment and my glass is feeling rather empty.

Chin up Chook.. Have some bubbles and enjoy the kids being home and that you are a super farmer and a super woman, that you can do more than many women out there and that you are loved by all of us and your family even though life is lemons sometimes........ Hugs and hugs....Hoping for rain for you too.......

Hi Chooky, I so understand exactly where you are coming from.. been there, doing that!! You know, the moment it rains, everything will change for you. We are so at the mercy of the elements, just waiting for that elusive rain can be depressing. Will be thinking of you, hope you are able to have a lovely time with the kids on school holidays. xxx

Donna, I hope things are settling - be careful, I don't like the sound of that tiredness. I battled for maybe 6 months and the end result hasn't been nice. I think of you often and have wondered why all has been quiet for a little while, but then I'm not exactly in the loop either.
Lots of hugs - Lurline.
