I HATE google plus!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep another dummy spit.......getting pretty good at these lately.............

The other day Feedly announced changes we had to login in to google plus to get into our accounts.........
very quicky they had a massive backlash and reversed it...........THANKYOU Feedly......

Today I tried to comment on Melanie's blog Pinnylea Creations now I am not sure if she has changed her blog or settings or I have not commented for quite some time but I had to sign up to google plus if I wanted to comment..................
NO WAY AM I GOING TO GOOGLE PLUS
I will avoid it for as long as possible..............most people don't want to go there either.........
I tried to go to her profile and email her from there but it goes to a google plus profile so can't do that either............
they want google plus overtake social media like facebook and we all know what I think of Facebook!!!
I HATE GOOGLE PLUS..........
wished Google would listen to us like Feedly listens to it's customers
.........take care til next time.....Chookyblue.........

  1. I don't think it is reasonable to have to sign up for something just to comment on a blog.... silly...

  3. I agree - as a follower of a blog we like we should be able to comment without all the hassle!

  7. Hello Donna,

I don't understand the concept behind Google plus. Maybe someone who uses this will give some details among the comments. Now if only the politicians would listen to us like the people at Feedly did!!!

    Enjoy your day Donna.

  11. I'm with you on this one Chooky. There are a couple of blogs I would love to comment on but won't due to this reason. I hope its not one of those things that happen automatically though. Not sure. Must check my blog to see.

  13. I am so with you on this one. There are a few blogs that I would love to comment on but Nope, not if I have to sign into Google Plus! I also can not reply to some comments left from the same people as again it is requested that I sign in to do so. Not happening!

  14. Hi Donna, Melanie's setting have been like that for quite some time now; I know this because she commented on my blog a while back & i couldn't reply to her because of the google+ issue, nor could i get to her blog because of it. There is another blog i read which has the same thing, so i can't Comment there either. it's such a shame - to see a blog that is full of great posts and wonderful stitching to see, but not a single Comment published to it.
It's especially annoying after FNSI or FNWF... surely if you are blogging, you want visitors & Comments on it, why make it impossible to do so?!?!?

I think that a lot of people set themselves up on google+ and don't realise that their settings for it are blocking the ability of non-google+ folks from Commenting. It's clear they are a bit confused as to why they are not getting so many visitors or Comments, because it gets written about in their posts. I also know that some bloggers (inc Shez, FionaBubz & Wendy Sugarlane) use google+ but it doesn't interfere with a person's ability to Comment on their blogs, so it must be something to do with settings

i don't want to have to sign in to some other thing just to leave a blog comment, I am already signed in to my own blog and reading from there.... and that SHOULD be enough, in my opinion.
    Rant Over...

  26. CANNOT stand google+. I like the blogger profile, which lets you see the persons blogs. I liked googles original home page much better. Sigh. Change is NOT always good. Wishing for lots of rain your way. I just can't believe how long this has been going. Cheers
