More pics from the blog meet...........

I have been a bit slow getting this post together..............I was a bit down after I came home............coming home to the dry paddocks, dusty bug ridden house, the high of seeing all the girl and the low of leaving them all behind, among other things............
I had a few more bits I needed to take pics of too so had to get that organised..................
Shopping at The Home Patch...............more pics below..........

Susan, Ann, Anita and Ros...........

hmmm what should I buy here.............

photo bomber Kylie.........

pretties............

Kate and Sandy........Kate has great plans for this piece of fabric..............

more gorgeous goodies in Anni's shop...........

Karen, Lynda and Jan...............

Kate the "Sales assistant" and Anni.........

Buddies from an online group Friends in Stitching............Susan, Fiona, me, Jan, Peg, Lynda, Sue

Sonia, Kate, Khrissy, Suze, Litle Chicken, Fiona

Anita and I always get a pic together..............

Kate, Little Chicken, Anita

Kylie and Anni..............

in the pic below......top row.....a layer cake of Midwinter Reds and a matching tonal........my treat for my full time work stint in town......to the right my swap present from Anita (or her Mum or Aunt) - love it....the swap was "Make it, Bake it or Fake it"......Anita "faked it"............lol...
mine went to Sonia...........
bottom row - Bathurst Fabric and Trim has such a pretty selection of fabrics as you walk in the door..........I had to take a few home with me........this shop is packed full of so many styles of fabric........you would be sure to find something you liked and the biggest selection of flannels I have seen on one shop.....ever.......
A present from Anita and a cute christmas chicken from Suze.........
the bowl matches perfectly with the one Janice gave me for my birthday...........
Also while waiting at the counter at Hatched and Patched I spied this pack.............
Anni has a fabric club..............thinking how did I miss this news then I read the little note in the pack that said welcome to our first mailing of the Fabric Club........
I hadn't really missed anything..........
bi monthly you get 16 fabrics (10"squares)........seriously considering this..........
there was the bright pack above "contemporary" or go "traditional"..........I needed to brighten up my life so got the brights.........i'm sure you could join in too.........email Anni......
Thanks to Anni for allowing us to overtake The Home Patch..........

Lunch was delicious at The Cargo Mill and a great spot for our big group.........they didn't want to hunt us out in a hurry.............

plans are in the pipeline for 2014............pretty sure it won't be just the day........it's just not enough time with all the girls.........especially when you consider the distances travelled..........
Jan did especially travel from Ballarat to Bathurst but most travelled more then 2.5hrs to get there...........up to 4-6 hrs for some girls......
......so we are a dedicated bunch to gather together.......
scatter all over country NSW and some from the city too........
If you want to do something you can make it happen.......
We can't meet weekly or monthly or even bi-monthly but we sure can put in an effort once a year (or twice if you count GDITC at Nundle)........now to find a venue..........a couple of suggestions are in the pipeline........
Catch you later

It's always hard coming back home to reality isn't it. We've a storm brewing to our west and I've everything crossed that this will be our turn. Kids have just pleaded with me not to look at the radar! Hope your turn comes soon.

So pleased you had your normal wonderful time with the girls Chooky. Understandable that you felt a bit down on going home, you would have been on such a high and then suddenly all alone even though you were with the family. I can so relate to that feeling. And it was so lovely to see your photo with Anita. The two of you wearing your beautiful smiles. Keep those wonderful memories of your time together and bring them out for a laugh every so often. xx
