Indy meets Curly Pops and the cows........

The other afternoon late I took Indy out for a walk to meet the cows...............at the moment she is still living in the garden but not sure how much longer that will last.......but she is doing less damage then the roos so that is ok..............
She is so cute............she wanders around the garden with me when I put hoses on and doing my jobs.....it's not a good idea to take her to the cloths line though as she slobbers on the sheets.......But I only need to walk out and call her name and she comes straight to me......
Occasionally she tries to nibble my legs etc......she rarely moos.......which is good because sometimes if pets are close they would wake you up and drive me nuts..........
I called the cows over..........hungry cows always come when you call them incase you have some food for them.............
these girls are all pregnant hence the big fat bellies.............shouldn't be too far off calving......
and they were very inquisitive of Indy............
Indy was really funny.......she was scared of them............she'd stand still for a bit then run away....I'd call her back over and then she would get a little brave again......she's just about to take off again in this photo........
Finally Curly Pops came over.............

I gave Curly Pops a big pat............and it was fun because I patted her tummy a little harder and someone inside hit back.............her 3rd baby is well on the way............
This is as close as they got............
We got a tiny bit of rain last night.......sadly 6mls won't do anything.............
Off loading all my younger stock today........pretty sad really.........not sure what will happen next year selling stock now that we would normally hold onto for another 12 months........
&&&&
One day this blog will return to more sewing..............the only sewing I am getting done at the moment is secret stuff and I can't share yet.....it would ruin the surprises......
I have 2 more swaps to get out the door in the next few days.....
But my SSCS parcel has landed in Norway with Annik......
&&&&
Boy wonder finishes school today so that is fantastic.............and Fairy Girl only has about 54 hrs left at school she informed me............
Catch you later.....
Chookyblue.....

Hope there are no more dramas in the "delivery ward" over the next few days.

Woo Hoo for Boy Wonder's return!

No you don't want too many " Indy's " in the garden.
We are having weird weather everywhere but I do hope you get some decent rain soon.

Enjoy your stitching.

Will be nice to have the kids home for the holidays.

Oh that Indy is so cute!! I hope you get some decent rain soon.

Only 54 hours for FG but who's counting. Even I am looking forward to the end of the term when routine goes out the window and we can all have a break. Our only child is in year 10 and even she said this morning I am sick of getting up.

How adorable those cows are....Indy is getting big quickly. Haven't heard whether my Santa package arrived at it's destination yet...but it is driving me nuts to have mine here and I can't open it!

Indy might keep the roos out of the garden! Ah the end of another school year....my kids are counting the days (not sure they have it down to hours) as well...but they are all teachers not students!

Cows can have such funny personalities. I'm sure Indy will get the hang of the herd. Lots of counting down to the end of school here too....

Awwww, Curly Pops is a mama! And how sweet -- one orphan to another. I hope Curly Pops whispered some secrets to Indy!
