winter chill...........

WOW winter sure is in air.............the last few days have been really cold............freezing (my version of freezing)............
we don't get many days this cold all year and with a wind chill factor bringing the temp down even more let alone 3 days in a row but I am loving it.............I am on holidays and hiding in side keeping warm...........
I am enjoying the big cold snap that's for sure............the next few mornings are supposed to be frosty..........
but for those of you in many other countries my winter is so mild compared to yours........
it was cloudy all day today.......that's not a regular event either.................
I laid these blocks out late last week...........left over EPP diamonds from the big project.......would have started it but I don't have spare papers......so will have to wait but thinking a mini quilt would be nice and not too big a project..........maybe it's incentive to get the other one finished........what do you think?
hope everyone  is enjoying the school holidays too.........I love them.......
Catch you later

Oh, that's so pretty! You're really on a roll With the EPP ;-) Perhaps freeing up paper templates is an incentive to work on your blue lanterns.

I received 300 paper templates in the mail this weekend - woohoo!

Great blocks... it's hard to belive they are not 3 dimensional they seem to pop up off the table. You know what I'd do.... mount and frame it behind glass. Big frame.. wide mount. It would great as a piece of art.

Love those blocks...
Enjoy your cold weather , it's been sunny here in the day but freezing at night. Great to get out on the block and mow and then sew at night.

People keep promising me that it will get really cold here in NZ too! We did have a few frosts, but still prefer this winter to the wet ones I used to get up North!
Love the blue plans.
Keep warm.
