Craft Alive Dubbo.......

What a wonderful spontanious day................I wasn't going.......to much on but I saw the ad on tv this morning and thought that would be good and it actually starts today.................
the ads are great........this is one I found from 2012.........pretty similar now.....very funny..........

On the way I was thinking I should text Ruthanne and the first person I run into was Ruthanne....
told her I was booking into a few classes and she joined me too...........here we are at Under the Mulberry Tree booking into Rosalie Quinlan's class...............
Ran into the lovely Helen who I always see at Girls Day in the Country...............she has a stand Country Pieces............got some nice fabrics here too........
For some reason the pic is upside down but the patterns are Red Brolly and Lynette Anderson..........
lovely floral prints and a 1930's print..........
Fabrics 4 u 2.........some lovely fat 1/4's to purchase among other goodies on the stand...........
Some feet for a bag I need to make...........
Loved this stand........Scrap Box Patchwork Designs
what a bright lovely stand........great designs..........
Joined the lovely Jane from BeBe Bold for a Sashiko workshop..............wow this is addictive............but I refused to buy another pattern until I get this piece made into a runner..........hopefully that will be soon.....loved it...........
now I know how to do this it's great.............thanks Jane..........
A view of the hall packed to the brim with crafty goodness..............heaps of quilting stuff........even had a go on a quilting frame at Brindabella Quiling ..........and I made a smooth loop........very impressed..............Mr Chooky even looked at the flash ones...............
Reece Scannell was there..............gorgeous hand printed cottons and linens.............
Love this pinflower print on cotton................
And just as I was leaving I found Jan from Red Shed Quilting..............we have been in a swap together and emailed/commented over a few years ......this was a lovely surprise........because when I was email Jan last I was not going........
Also saw quite a few friends...........
well worth the day and the workshops were fun........still think I missed seeing stuff..................
&&&&&
Anyway kitchen renos calling again........
if you get a chance to head to Dubbo this weekend do so as there is so much to see...........
Catch you later

WOW!! What a fantastic show to visit...oh my, so many lovely things to look at....all that yummy fabric, and ooooh the colours too... It must of been heaven !
You some classes, brilliant!! Oooooh I see maybe a bunny or two under all that thread?!
Marvellous buys, really lovely fabric choices too....glorious colours....1930's patterns are so pretty.
You saw a lot of familiar stalls....yes this would be so, as you use them to buy previous items to make your brilliant creations! And I bet also met some new stalls.... With different, lovely fabrics etc... Ha that's the fun of it all.
Now your all stocked up again,I cannot wait to see what you make next!!
After you have recovered from walking around the show that is! Hee hee
Happy stitching
Smiles :)

Looks like a great show. They should advertise to a wider radius. Dubbo is not that for away. Maybe next year.

I heard the ad this morning too, but just too low on energy. Maybe next year. Looks like a good range of exhibitors.

No reason why you can't have two quilt weekends in a row

Oh you gadabout - that looks like such a good show. Glad you had such fun and had the chance to have a go at some new techniques. Love Reece Scannel's fabrics. We are in Ballina for a few days with rellies - so lush and green up here -just beautiful - a different sort of beauty to your part of the world, which has its own special magic.
