Spring where are you?????

So glad you're sharing my excitement about my trip............thanks for all the helpful advice..........me in the city OMG i'm like a fish out of water..............
Some Lucy love arrived in the mail box this week.........i'm naughty as I have a couple to finish from the mail previously............
The chooks are laying so well at the moment............
love it when I have lots of eggs.........
OMG the weather....................the weekend sure did not feel like spring.............where did it go???? I went in search and found some flowers to make me "feel like spring"
some roses are just starting...first one on this young climber but lots of buds nearly ready........
the geraniums are flowering madly..........this one I have now broken a few bits off to spread the brightness around..........
button squash starting to appear..............
yellow gold rush zucchini bursting away too.........maybe eat tomorrow night......
one little sweetbite tomato...........few flowers on other tomatoes too.........
Cedar trees full of flowers and lots of little bush bees buzzing around...........
crimson bottle brush............
love the yellow tips on the ends.........
seaside daisy never disappoints............
a different type of iris to my usuals but it looks great........
Cecile Brunner has the most adorable fragrance...........
And the poor agapanthus have no idea whats going on.....really they are about a month or more early..............heads coming up everywhere..............
just starting to burst open...........
no pic but  I have a chrysanthemum starting to flower also that should flower in May.........
anyway I felt better once I found all these lovely blooms but gee it was a bit chilly...............and since we have cleaned out the fire I was not going to relight it but I did seriously consider it until I thought about doing the big end of season clean out and I saw sense........cool chilly Sunday saw me spend most of the day on the lounge as the hayfever has been knocking me around..........I go for so long then I need a stop day as exhausted.........
Anyway spring will be back tomorrow by the looks of the temps so i'll survive............
whats flowering in your garden this spring????
Catch you later.......
Chookyblue.........

Hi Chooky
Love your garden pics. I found a gladioli in my garden in full bloom, I was so surprised, they don't normally flower til Christmas. Lots of bud son my roses too.
Hope you feel better soon from your hayfever.

Yep I agree, the garden is not sure just what season it is in. Tis a lovely day here, need to go outside and find the spring flowers also. Have still been burning the wood inside, which is very unusual for last part of October.

OOO LOve that LB block. I ordered the latest one with some fabric over a week ago and still haven't received it. Your garden is blooming beautifully. I love geraniums as they seem to withstand our clay soil. I have put various cuttings in my new garden bed but only one has really taken off so far. Yep, it has been a bit cold here and I have had the heating on most days. Hayfever is definitely a problem here too. Try the FES Eucalyptus nasal spray to wash out your nasal passages. All natural, just saline and eucalyptus. Helps me a lot.

You are looking for Spring and I am still waiting for Autumn temperatures to arrive! The pictures are wonderful, thank you for sharing.

We are still having light frosts in the mornings occasionally but finally some sun and 20C this week, but it has been a long time coming! Still the crops look all the better for having had lots of rain and overcast days. My flag iris have been blooming madly, wild poppies and sweet peas. The daffodils were nice but the creeper (pandora pandora - native) has gone nuts. Mind you I think that has given me hayfever also...not sure what to blame really, probably just living in the country!

At least some gorgeous flowers in the garden to make it look like Spring even if it doesn't feel like it. Been VERY cool down here too

The weather is definitely doing weird things. Glad you found signs of spring - but not the hay fever.

I think it was cool all down the East Coast...I'm happy to delay Spring/Summer.
Get better soon...

It's been chilly here too. I think we've had more frosts since we planted our tomatoes than the rest of the winter. We've had a frost every day for the last couple of weeks. I'm amazed at how far progressed your veges are. Our Zucchini is just getting it's 4th leaf and our tomatoes are still only quite small. Make the most of the cool weather while you can.

You've got heaps going on in your garden, mine is still waiting to bloom! I am sick of weeks where we have 14, 16, 22, 15, 18degrees - never two days the same and usually with rain and wind thrown in just for fun - not! We had a beautiful day here yesterday but by 4pm the cold wind was blowing then we had really good rain overnight. Hate to say it, but I am looking forward to summer and that's not like me at all!
