It is drizzle here in Melbourne the last couple of nights
but I keep praying for lots of safe and steady rain.
Those heavy drops that really go into the soil came in the last lot we had and it was just wonderful watching it.
I have tomatoes and basil in a long rectangular pot and they are growing so well. The vegetable and 'erb garden is even beginning to function again...after we had a snail slaughter. Oh so many.
I had newspaper and all the spare pots on one beg to try and kill that horrible weed that has bulbs so that bed has been out of action for two years but I think it has also been a home for snails.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-222786315881803285.post-74085173665785914902008-11-19T19:27:00.000+11:002008-11-19T19:27:00.000+11:00Well Donna, I'm happy with you.ciao ciaoWell Donna, I'm happy with you.
ciao ciaoTeodohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09207665876205538041noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-222786315881803285.post-52424394229105433472008-11-19T18:52:00.000+11:002008-11-19T18:52:00.000+11:00Living in a country with no problems with water......Living in a country with no problems with water... We didn't get all of the harvesting done (not that there was much to do!) - but we're loving the rain anyways!
