Blogger &^$%$*&^#*^^$*&^#..........

During the school holidays blogger pushed us into the new interface.

  aarrrgg &^$%$$*^%* blogger your driving people nuts.............

You can still change back to the old interface for the time being................i have gone back to the old one as it is easier to use but also to control the SAL group blog I can see how many members we have in the blog. 

Previously I couldn't delete members of the group blog in the new interface but now I can do that.............BUT it still doesn't show how many members you have in the group like it does in the old interface and blogger has a limit of 100. 

I don't want to be counting that all the time seeing how many members we have.

From the dash board click on the wheel below.......then choose old blogger interface

Once back in the old interface on the dashboard does say the old interface will be removed in the coming months which will be a bummer but for now i'll stay with the old look............

......school holidays are over..............we have had a wonderful time.........busy........constant stream of visitors...........we had 20 here for Easter........wonderful time with friends..........kids all busy..........seems so long ago...........

After an unexpected quick trip to Sydney i'll just wish you all a happy easter......

I have a pile of visitors for Easter.......bringing on a new meaning to "packed to the rafters".........

but we always have such a nice time together...........

......school holidays have started for some and start Friday for others....

a little rotary cutter and some papers.....

and I picked up these fat 1/4's.............very nice..........

this is what I achieved on the day.............I got tied up with a few other things but I do have quite a few more papers prepared..........

I won a giveaway on Cardygirl's blog and she delivered it at GDITC.............so a little bonus...............yummo.............Anni Downs Hatched and Patched fabric..........

as a swap theme for GDITC this year we made a pincushion by Sue Daley.............I was lucky to get Anita's beautiful pincushion and we had the same pattern (there were several patterns) 

this is my pincushion...............it was supposed to have tassels but I didn't have any..............I really wanted to keep it...........another friend got his one..............

shaggy quilts.........

a few weeks ago I had my sewing friends out and they helped me get these quilts on the way.......I finished them off........

.........quite a good size......
very kindly Kerry donated one and I donated another and they were auctioned at a fundraiser dinner...............

It feels good to finally have something sewn and finished.................

crutching.........

Yesterday we were crutching..............

I love the early morning light coming into the shed............

lots of work ahead...........all waiting............

see they get all woolly around their heads and get a bit "wool blind"

a nice little trimming around the head and cheeks..........called "wigging"

and this is what happens on the other end..............where the wees and poos have stained the wool........

a bit of a clean up before shearing...............

maybe the girls could get a "hair do" like mine.......

(she got sick and lost her coat not much left to come off)

Girls Day in the Country 2012.............

well the cool change sure did come thru over night and we woke to a very chilly morning which turned into a beautiful day........................

Lise trying to hide all the food they had in their cabin..............OMG there was no way they were going to starve...............

This is what I worked on..............the clam shells would have done my head in on Saturday........
loved the charm pack I got to play with........the new French General fabric

every year a new blogger pops up into my world...............this year it may be Margaret..........a lovely lady all the way from Rockhampton..........where are you Margaret?????

I love this little quilt...........I have ordered some elongated hexagons since starting this post.........

Sadly it was all over for another year for me and now i'll just have to start the countdown once again.................these sunflowers gave me a smile along the way home............

PS in the woolshed today.............crutching is on.........yippee.........

Friday at Nundle...................

After a late night chatting with the girls Lise, Tracey, Loz and Belinda there visit was over all too soon...............we headed off bright and early to Nundle................we had to take 3 cars so swapped passengers along the way mixing up the conversations.............

Lunch at the Pub starts us off...........

Lots of excited chatter as everyone meets up again and also meeting new faces..............

a beautiful spot to sit on the verendah..............

bit of shopping around Nundle and out at Kerry's shop then it is time for drinks on the lawn and show and tell............

we had a lovely dinner at Mt Misery.............I didn't snap any pics but the other girls did so I will have to get some from them................

after dinner we had Sue Daley's trunk show.............this is my favourite quilt.........there were lots more but I already have enough pics in this post..............
