show and tell...........

Seens as everything is secret sewing at the moment I snapped some pics of the girls quilts on Saturday........we had a great day in the chook shed............

This one has been floating along for awhile.............the borders were a stopping point and when my friend got here on Sat she started to work on something else.........but I made her get them done...........only because she told me earlier in the week that she wanted to do them.........

Doesn't it look great..........French General fabrics.........

This one was already done............brought out to show us..........

both off to the quilting fairy very soon...........

We have a nick name for one of the girls............she's not a BFF (best friend forever) she's a SFF Super fast finisher..........

thinking she would not stay all day the SFF brought the fabrics to cut out this quilt...........

she was done then but we said well why not start putting it together......there's a spare machine to use...............and look she is nearly done.............needs a border around it which is pieced but doesn't it look great.......and I am sure she would have finished the border today...........

We had a great day in the chook shed...........can't wait til we meet again..............

I might be a bit quiet........lots on.........meeting meeting meetings helping organising a big event, secret sewing, work, blog meet next weekend, harvest, just a bit crazier then usual...........

 I should be on the ball with the SSCS emails so if I am quiet here you know why..........

well the bonus of this top photo is that I didn't have to pay for the fabrics..................a yummy bundle of flannels........"little chicken" wanted a shaggy flannel quilt just like the pastel one in this post but I couldn't get the fabrics so we went shopping and found these.........I told her if she brought the fabrics I would make it for her.............can't wait to cut into them but will have to wait for a few a little while........I have the batting so ready to go............I love going into a shop and pulling out fabrics..........we had about 3 options pulled out on the table............deciding what to choose.........

I got this lovely piece of linen and a couple of fat 1/4's at The Home Patch last visit..........just forgot to show you...........they have heaps of lovely christmas ornaments too.........

We have a good number for the blog meet.......I am getting so excited

a weird fence.......

recently I snapped these pics...........the sky was amazing ..........I posted some more pics here at Snappy Friends if you want to see more...........

have you ever seen a fence like this one.................it does have netting on both sides of the "A" frame..............I have no idea why you would ever do a fence like this...............and I have never seen one anywhere else.............I showed my Dad and he has never seen a fence like this either................
