I am making a little progress on the binding front...................1st - 1/2 done...........2nd one binding cut and partly sewn on and about 1mt sewn down................3rd quilt need to cut and fold and sew on binding so I can start sewing down........need to get some other work done first before I can get back to this...........

.........take care til next time......

He looks like a baby butterfly to me. (Seems much nicer that way)
You are making progress on your binding. I feel like a real lazy, as I sew it on by machine. I hadn't thought of winding it around a glass case (there are always extras around) I just wind it around my hand, but then it is kind of on it's own. Good idea.

If you soak the brocoli in salt water for a bit, the worms will float out of it. Good job on the binding!

Hey Chooky Blue, love your blog. that fabric looks like my current fav, is it Fresh Cut?
I have those pretty little green things in my broccoli too, the kids don't seem to like them cooked.

Hey Chookyblue! Ooooohhhh! He would have tickled on the way down!!! Good thing you found ALL of him and not HALF!! Have recovered from my Hair-Raising experince and have knuckled down to write some overdue pattern instrucions for the bucanneer bears, so no stitching today :0( Maybe if I finish the instructions, I'll reward myself with some needle-pushing!! Bear Hugs! KRIS (Tag Along Teddies)

Bindings.....I just say one thing....I hate it LOL
But they have to be done. And now I've inherited the tradition that moms do the bindings. My mother always sewed the bindings on my quilts, and now I have to do the same for my DD. But that's okei if that makes her want to learn more about quilting.

The caterpillar is a wonderful shade of green. Hope you don't find any more on your broccoli. Can't wait to see the finished quilts you are binding up. I love the banner of the moment. You have been very busy.

..at least you know it hasn't been nuked by any nasties when there are live creatures in the broc!! Good luck with the binding....one of my least favourite chores....I finished my quilt to send of for the ALQS last night and even that little bit of binding took me ages.....it was fun to do - I hope the person who is getting it likes it....next....the pincushion swap and Kerry's challenge....
