hello blogland.........back again after another busy schedule which meant I couldn't blog etc but now life should be returning to normal - usual crazyness not super crazy............

I have so many things to show and tell but I will leave it for a few posts..........

frist up I have kits for 2 of Anni Downs - Hatched and Patched most recent releases..........they will be part of her latest book I managed to get them at the Women's Gathering that she designed them at...........I picked the needlecase (stitchery design)

and I couldn't decide so I got the pillow kit (applique) too................fantastic little country scenes..........

and I got some fabrics together for my polka dots and ric rac swap...............

I have not got around many blogs this month - I have tried but not got to far...........bloglines has the number of unread posts at a number which is mind blowing but I will get there..........

....it is very warm here in my part of Oz and summer is definitely here..........got sunburnt on my shoulders while mowing and watering.............trying to catch up.............but hey it had to get warm sometime....and I got the garden bed finished finally so will show you some pics of that soon............I am finally seeing some of the snow posts the winter girls have shown and I still think it is pretty weird............anyway more news to come soon I promise.............

Life's been busy...........

As I am starting to get emails asking if I'm okay and did I survive the weekend I thought it was time for an update the blog workshop - went well thanks for all the great comments and if you missed it or your new to blogging go and read them here - about 20 women who knew nothing about blogs (maybe convert a couple) used my random number generator aka dh to pick a winner - comment no 36 come on down.......Jenny............. 2 days card stall in a beautiful garden attended a huge dinner on a perfect spring night, wedding dress parade, wine, champs, time with friends, dancing no headache after the night out - thank goodness co-ordinated open gardens with some friends and raised lots of money curly pops and blackie got sick when things were hectic but are all better now bookworm is all better now garden bed still needs some dirt so I can plant the roses into it setting up my etsy shop - more work to do there ordering new cards receiving new cards - (must show you very soon) received yummy parcels from Annie and Sonia (more about that later) got 2 of the very latest Hatched and Patched patterns (pics soon) and a very supportive family to be able to fit all this in finished with a PJ day yesterday.........not that I can say I have done heaps today but I did go for a ride around the paddocks and check some cows/sheep and water the garden that is getting desperate for a drink............. .........take care til next time.....Chookyblue.........

Plastic bags.......

Where I live they are hard to come by so I am sharing my supplier of plastic bags I use for cards etc........you know the ones that have a sticky strip to shut......many different sizes...........she is very efficient and helpful...........you can email her here............

meet Blackie........

Hi it's me Curly Pops..........I'm back again......don't you just love me in
the garden..............oh and here's my mate Blackie.....we are not allowed
to stay in here for very long as we are not very kind to the
plants.......mostly squashing them at this stage but I am sure they will
taste nice later.......

PS Bookworm is getting better...........he feeds us and gives us cuddles........

No wonder he was sick.........

Well "book worm" has still been sick and went back to the Dr's again this
week and had an x-ray and today we find out he has very bad pneumonia in
both lungs and bronchitis.........lucky he was a bit better today as the Dr
was ready to put him in hospital on an antibiotic drip.......and boy that
would have been fun......NOT........

Last weekend I got to borrow a macro lens and wow it is amazing......

meet Curly Pops.........

Just when I was madly preparing for the visitors I had to take a break and
go and collect Curly Pops........she was a little big for her first time
Mumma and things went bad......mumma died and hello I am now the
mumma.....she couldn't stand up when I got her...she must have hurt her back
end when she was born.........anyway she was a huge hit with the kids over
the weekend and has gradually improved and you would hardly notice anything
wrong now.......she has had some time in the garden since she could not move
very much......

..........why the name........she had a curly coat when I got her last
week.....so I thought Curly Pops was cute.......then a few days later Tutti
Fruiti said there is a blogger with her name......oops.....apologises if your
offended but too late now........she really is cute so it is good
thing..........

Curly Pops got a new friend yesterday afternoon so will get some pics and
show you "Blackie".......no guessing what colour he is..........

Bag Swap pics finally....................

Back again finally........here is a pic of my bag swap I received from
Debbie........and I made a mistake in the last post and included the wrong
blog........huge apology to my swap partner..............look at this wonderful parcel I received......all wrapped so beautifully........all the way form the USA.........thanks Debbie I love it all........and the perfect colour..........

.............updating.................so much has happened since I was here last.................I have had a major problem with my computer while away and it spent a day at the computer
doctors........I think I was having withdrawals..............back up your files NOW -
don't just think about it do it.......thankfully I have not lost anything but it
was not looking good for a while..........can't even bear to look at the number of blogline feeds I have to read but it is huge.............
........having no computer lucky i was so busy with the visitors.............OMG 16 people eat so much food.........10 motorbikes whizzing around....only needed a few kiss and cuddles
and some bandaids.....lots of farm fun happening......on Thursday when I
least needed it I gained a new calf.....will post pics of her very soon she is
sooo cute...........and we got another one today double cute........total hit
with the kids.........so nice to just enjoy the weekend at home with friends..........everyone helps so it's not toooo bad.......I had about 10 loads of washing done before they left at lunchtime..............then I crashed on the lounge.........lol........for those that had a long weekend hope it was a good one.............mine was
