What started off glorious had a bad patch............
The neighbours woolshed................
everything is so dry here believe it or not with all the rain in December we are so lucky this fire only burnt the shed down.
For those that know a wool shed these are the shoots (where you push the sheep down and out of the shed once they are shorn).........it looks very odd seeing them poking up in the air now..............

Fire's in woolsheds, fueled by all that old lanolin, scary stuff..! Glad it was only the shed, stay safe...

Amazing how dry we are when it is so wet to the north & south. Fortunate that only the shed was lost.
Gosh that could have been so bad in a dry year!

So glad to hear that the fire did not spread, look at WA fire recently, we have done a bit of travelling back and forwards to Adelaide over the last few days and side of the road are so dry with weeds, that a flick for a cigerette butt from a passing car could quite easier start a fire.
So glad no one was hurt and all the animals are safe too

Oh no - hope all is insured and thankfully no casualties. We had a conversation here yesterday about woolsheds burning down in the night(we were loading shed full of lambs for shearing)
It is hard to believe how dry it is after all of that rain we had in NSW late last year. So glad it was restricted to the woolshed.
How scary it would have been to see the fire happening..... curve balls being thrown everywhere and surprising everyone with what is happening around the country over there and here.....

Scary stuff Chooky...fires are so unpredictable. They are forecasting similar conditions to last weekend here in Perth...eek!

What caused it? If it were a hay shed, now that I could understand!!
Love the scrolls, my family live on them at shearing..so do the shearers...I cheat and used the frozen pastry sheets, no bread maker! And some gorgeous gifts there, as usual!! Love Tracey

Oh dear, what a sad picture, but you captured it so well. What is happening to this country, with all the rain, fire and cyclones. Scary stuff.
So lucky it didn't spread anywhere else..very dry here as well....you just never know what the day will bring do you?

Isn't it amazing how it can still be dry with all of the moisture just a few weeks ago? We have that problem here as well.
I'm glad that it was only the wool shed...and that no one was hurt. Fire can be very scary!

Geeeeez Chooky glad there wasn't any worse damage...makes us realize it's still quite dry out there...and brings back fond memories of our time on small acres with adjoining farms with the lot...shearing sheds...hay sheds...and the best of times...
