Sunday on a Monday........

If it can't rain at least the days are glorious....(22-25degC)............I have enjoyed sitting out of the car the last few days at the cows...............(I've been busy with other "kid" commitments so had a little break from the cows)
This was my table today............the neighbours dropped off the Sunday papers............only one day late reading them..........
..how many drovers do english paper piecing................
This was me last time at the cows on the 19th Aug...........on the bike it was freezing putting the cows in...........
I have been a bit missing lately but life just doesn't slow down.......needed to make an appearance as I have several emails in the last few days checking on me...........eg Do I need to phone you???..Are you ok???
THANKYOU girls
We have had a little rain......need lots more......had to sell some cattle as we are running out of feed (lucky the market kicked up a bit that day so they sold better then expected)
&&&
...I have taken quite a few pics here and there over the last month and not got to share them so today I took the computer and the cameras and phone and downloaded all the pics............trying to get sorted here.............if your looking for sewing you'll be disappointed.........there isn't much..............
bound this quilt for a friend sitting at the cows...........
on a rare afternoon home the kids and I cooked dough sticks on the campfire..........
fill with golden syrup - yummo
This GORGEOUS bag arrived in my mail................OMG I am in heaven
a "pick me up"
and inside........
.....it is my constant companion............ traveled lots of km's in it's short life with me..............
Thanks HEAPS Janet - so glad I won your giveaway..............
so many beautiful comments about it....
...it even made a visit to Anni's shop............Anni loved it too Janet.......
new header pic.........
lots of cool clouds..........

a dam running low in water...........
kids will be kids............wresting...........

playing with reflections of a spider on my rear view window.......
the rain was just over the mountains..........

spectacular sunsets..............

want to join me for a cuppa tea............
Catch you later..............
Chookyblue
PS  "Coke" and "Daisy" the lambs are going well and now have another sibling "lambogini"
PSS and for those waiting for "that time" "the unmentionable" to come I am hoping to find some time in the next week or 2.............

So nice to check in on you and see a slice of your life Chooky! I really enjoyed the pictures, well except for the green spider. I've never seen a green one before and I think it looks a little less threatening than the black widows that we have here.

I loved seeing your bag out with the cows, just as I imagined it. I'm thrilled that Annie loved it too.
Loved seeing the photos but you're right, it looks like you could use a few days of rain at least.

Glad to hear yo uare still about. Shame about the water levels and feed, but it is the same here too. Hopefully we can get some decent rain to have some growth and drinking water before summer hits.
Your card table all set up, looks like a peaceful oasis - no washing to be hung out, nobody bugging you and some of the things you enjoy right there. In spite of the quiet moments at your table I am sure things are busy as when you get home.
Beautiful bag that you won from Janet, I don't know how she could give it away!

Great pictures and oh, that is the bag of my dreams.
I tried to win it but your name came up instead LOL. I'll have to attempt to make it at some point but that zipper looks a bit scary.
I hope you have had the longed for rain by now.
