I'm in Ohio, which is right next to Pennsylvania! :0)
I'd love to go too!
I live in WV, a neighbor of Pennsylvania, but definitely not near Houston, Washington or New York.
I'm about 3 hours from Houston, 4 hours from New York, and a little over an hour from Washington. I wish I was closer!
I live in New Hampshire...not too far from New York. I think New York would surprise you, it did me the first time I visited. I used to live in Indiana (next to Terry in Ohio). My first visit to New York I was shocked!! The "city" is very much the "city" but New York state is also very rural like. Lots of green space and mountains.
I'm in New Jersey. I can get to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania in about 1 1/2 hours; New York City is about an hour on the train. Washington, DC is south of us. . .don't recall exactly the driving distance.
I belong to a small quilt guild (Birds of a Feather).
There aren't too many quilt shops near me. . . most of them are at least a 45 minute drive away.
Most of my favorite shops are in Lancaster, PA.
Which Washington? The state or the city?
Happy Australia Day!!!
I live in northern Illinois, about a half an hour from Chicago. Not one of the cities you aked about, but I am in a guild, a Bee, and I work at a local quilt shop.
I would love to see Australia, my Dad was there in the late 60's, but I have never made it there.
hmm what are you up to Chooky friend??
I live about 40 minutes South of Houston. There is one nice quilt shop in Houston that I know of and then another one about an hour away from me. I wish you WOULD come this way...maybe for Quilt Festival in November?? ;0)
I'm still here in North Carolina since I'm not moving to Australia.
You've got me intrigued as to what you're cooking up, Chooky.....I've had a bit of a guess to myself......I'd like to win lotto and go too!
Happy Australia Day? Indeed it is a beautiful country! One that is on my list of places to visit! Cheers!
