......school holidays are over..............we have had a wonderful time.........busy........constant stream of visitors...........we had 20 here for Easter........wonderful time with friends..........kids all busy..........seems so long ago...........

As you are heading into winter, we are heading into summer here in Arizona. Temps this last week reached over 100+ degrees. Wish I could spend summer in Australia!
Beautiful pictures! It's spring here, cool and rainy this week. Last week it was really warm and I cleaned our wood stove out thinking we were done with it. But we've lit it twice since. That's what I get for cleaning.
I so miss having a fireplace! Sounds lovely Chooky :) I think the header looks great, but then, I am very impressed by anyone who can achieve special effects!

My favourite thing?... a wood burning open fireplace...watching those flames flicker and sparks fly as a mallee root gets poked.
