I don't envy you the heat or the bugs. Just to rub it in, we had the fire alight tonight. I can't believe how you are powering on with your quilt. A fantastic job.
Oh no! When I saw the umbrella I thought you'd got some rain. I'd be turning off the lights and pretending to be out if I thought a million bugs were coming to visit. Hope you can fend them off and get a decent spell of rain soon. Love your brolly block!
Perhaps you need to get one of those awful bug zappers...with the blue bars, they were so big they looked like an air conditioner! Shucks and fan's are such a pain when your piecing too...yep, you need a lotto ticket or a rain dance, sorry we cannot help!
You're doing great Chooky - I couldn't cope with the heat and the bugs, though I suspect its not humid as well for you rather be in Tassie with Leanne!
go chooky ,well done you are hunnning along nicely. We got to 10deg yesterday i am so hanging out for the sun,we go away camping soon and hopefully its warmer in Robinvale, lol.xx
would work for us here in the UK... we managed a couple of days with no rain... back to "normal" now xx I would love an umberella as bright and cheerful as yours... maybe I should drop Santa a line xx

Feel for you with the bugs. They are horrible little creatures. Going great on your quilt.
It shows great dedication to your stitching to remain in the Chook Shed with the bugs and high temperatures!! Love the block!
Probably don't need THAT umbrella I suppose? I love the heat so no complaints here! Good luck with the finish... :)
Send some of that heat to me chooky, it was 9 degrees in Tassie yesterday.
