Brissy.....

I had an urgent unexpected trip to Brisbane.........
But I managed to make the most of it.......catching up with some blog friends...........
An early morning phone call to Kris - Tag-a-long Teddies to check she was home and I waited as long as I could til 7am to ring her..........he he he.......she was sleepy sleepy........but she knew who it was.........and she was free - yippee
A stop in at Kris' home away from home - The Quilters Angel @ Highfields and lunch with Fiona Bubz Rugz......
We had a great time.......so pleased the girls were free and when I left them they said they were heading back to their cars but really I think they may have been heading back to the shop...............

Here we are..........the quilt in the background is one Kris designed...........

When I mentioned to Susan Oh 2 Sew I was heading her way she said any chance of a little blog meet...........well this turned into dinner............and what a great dinner it was..........thanks so much girls for meeting at such short notice.............
I'll come back and put in the links later
Kayly, Lynda, De, Me, Maria, Marilyn, Susan.........and it was great to meet Cath too but I forgot to take a pic before she left.............And thanks heaps for the bed too Lynda..........much appreciated...........
&&&
On the way home I gate crashed a quilt retreat........what a surprise they got........shame I only got time for a quick cuppa......The girls were having a great time at Glenrose in Warwick..........
I got to catch up with Helen, Teresa, Sandi, Maree, Alison, and again with De, Lynda, Kayly, Marilyn
Then I got to the border and stopped in for a visit with Jenny - Bird on the Border and we were getting very tired and it was getting later in the day so it wasn't hard for the Bird family to convince us to stay.......
relax with a "bubbles" and catch up...........stop revive survive took on a whole new meaning.........lol...
Better still I have birdnapped Jenny and we're home and just about to head for the chookshed..........lets see what we can achieve in a few days sewing together..........
Catch you later
