changes, a rant, a quote.........

Trish I tried to reply to your email but it bounced......try contacting me on the contact form on the right hand side of my blog............
Sheryl Vicino who is NO REPLY asked what font I have changed to on my blog and it is "Indie Flower" I really like it........AND i made the font bigger so i can read it easier........ I have shared this post with many how to change from no reply
(a photo I shared on Snappy Friends the other day)
GOOGLE+ why why why does google have to make changes and try and force people into google+........it just makes life difficult...........everyone I know hates it in blogland..........people who are google+ leave comments and you can't contact them............or find their blog address..............people send me google friends connect requests..........sorry I just delete them as I am not going to google+...........it's not that I don't like you..............it has caused trouble for people wanting to join the SAL...........If people want to do something like google friends connect then they would  do FB instead.......but every step you make in blogger they are trying to get you to move into google+ if only they would give up and realise we hate it............

And while i'm at it.............Ad's on blogs......I hate them too.........it's not why I started blogging......

Quote.... my friend Denice @ Denice's Day allowed me to use her quote from her recent post you should read it and I love it so much it is on my sidebar...........
"You are the tree. Every leaf is someone you've touched in your life.
Without you, the leaves wouldn't be."

.........take care til next time.....Chookyblue.........

Hey Donna! So agree with you about blogger (and other internet entities!) trying to force people to update, upgrade, try the latest and making it difficult to use old versions so we HAVE to change. If it ain't broke ... don't fix it! Somehow all things computer/internet related seem to ignore this quote. SIGH! Then I just feel old! :0) Hope your quiet time out on the verandah helped calm you down after dealing with computer stuff ... deck-sitting is almost a lost art and we are doing our best to reinstate it here! :0) Bear Hugs! KRIS xx

I agree. I have Google + because I thought I had to to get started. I don't use it. It is confusing, I go around in circles and they NEVER respond to feedback.

I'm sure you feel better with that off your chest.

Preaching to the choir!! But then again - I believe operating system functionality peaked with WinXP and has gone down hill ever since. I hate all the techo's who write computer systems/programs/applications that tell me I have to do things to suit them instead of trying to provide what I want.
I have loved computers throughout the 40years I have worked with them (yeah I started with punched card programs!) but I haven't seen a development from the "big players" in over 15years that I thought was a real improvement. I look to the smaller independent developers for really clever innovation. As soon as "big" gets involved everything gets dumbed down or over complicated to the point where it is not worth using for most of us.

As I read the comment above mine, I thought, "that's something Cheryl would write!" So I peaked at the name and just laughed! So many blessings in my life.

I'm with you on Google+, cannot stand it, want nothing to do with it. Heck, I'm still annoyed they did away with Reader! Catch you later!

Oh dear I had a little ad on my blog that comes up sometimes. I thought I would as I can't get work here due to my Carer hours and we are a 1 income family. Didn't really work but I have to work out how to get it off lol! Good rant Chooky!
