Amazing sunrise........

Did you see sunrise this morning????
It was amazing and something I have not seen before............
the sun was red........then slowly changed.........
you could actually look at the sun for about 30mins after it rose..........
My photos are on my phone and it was pretty dark so not the best but OMG it was stunning......
Even now this afternoon there must be lots of particles high up in the sky as the sun is not full strength............
Chookyblue.........

Such an amazing sunrise ! The particles are sadly all the way from the huge fires from down in Esperance south of WA. After 5 days they still can't contain the fires. So far 4 people have lost their lives, houses and property destroyed . The farms had the best crop for 30 years , all destroyed now. Very sad.

Thought it might be from the fires....makes the sun a beautiful colour...sad about the fires though

amazing - like fairy floss stitches - I hardly ever see a sunrise these days.
sad to hear the reason why though.

Stunning. We have had some blood red sunsets this last week. Must be something on the air.
