Oh my lordy be.......

While digging in the deep dark treches of my fabric stash I found a snap lock bag...........
Mmmmmm mystery.......
When I moved to the shed I was really good and wrote down all the projects I had started........those pages will never be viewed by anyone but me.....the list is long.........but....somehow this one missed the list..........
I have no idea when I started it..........I do remember making it...........once I opened the bag.......
Its the gorgeous "Maderia" by Blackbird Designs..............I have loved lots of their ranges, Garden Party, Beach House, Blueberry Crumb Cake...........
I just checked out the lastest one and such disappointment.......it's got purple, yellow and black in it..........so not their usual.........well what I loved anyway.........
But back to Maderia............it was released Sep 2007..........
So after Easter I might just pull this baby out and work on her again......
Thank goodness I live in a hot dry climate as those pins have been there for years............
Oh and text backgrounds have been around for some time now........
Catch you later......

Oooh! I'm a sucker for a nice Dresden. Pretty colours too. I'm with you, not sure blacks and purples would do it for me.

Das ist aber schön, was man im laufe der Zeit so alles ansammelt, um so schöner wenn man solche Schätze wiederfindet!

Well, at least the fabrics haven't gone out of style! They really are very nice so it can be like running into an old friend you haven't seen for awhile.

I love finding an old forgotten UFO when you can liken it to catching up with a favorite book - it looks good and will be a pleasure to recommence. I don't enjoy the ones you stuffed in a corner, wanting to forget because it was giving you headaches!

What a great find!! Have fun playing with that. You're a good girl to make a list of your projects - I'm too scared to even start.......it might take me months to just make the list!

what a great refind! It's lovely and such fun to play with it again. I think we all have those kind of projects hiding. I'm embarrassed how many I have and how I have forgotten about them!

Dear Chooky,
lovely colors, love the Dresden pattern anyway...there is nothing so bad, that not something good could come out of it......so much for pins and dry climate.
Greetings,
Sylvia
