16-20 Lucys and some layout options...........

I am so addicted to making these blocks........I just love them..........
No 16
No 17
No 18
this one ended up looking a bit darker then the rest............
No 19
No 20
Another darker block...............
i'll just make sure they are in the corners.............
Layout options..............I took pics of all the main blocks and collaged them in Picasa.......hit shuffle a few times then I see what it looks like......picasa lets me drag the blocks around to even out the colours......and also put in the white lines/framing...........I can't fit in the fillers but this gives me a great plan...........
this one above got canned as I needed more blocks at the time...............
planning for 6x7 layout...........
this one is actually sideways...........
the top right hand corner is supposed to be the top left.........
i'll save this pic on my phone so it will be easy to access and see what I need next...............
Bring on the school holidays........

Catch you later.......

Great blocks and what a fabulous idea to use PIcasa to lay out the blocks. I'm going to do the same with my current hexie quilt, all because of clever you.

Awesome idea to use Picasa, because who has enough floor space to leave blocks laid out for the amount of time it takes to make up your mind about layout!

LOL, I think working out block placement must be the hardest part of the quilt process. I am soooo glad I am only making 12 blocks. Good luck!

You are a true inspiration Donna. Your blocks are magical. I think I am aiming for a 6 x 7 Lucy quilt, would be a great size.
