Nature....

no sewing to report.............to many bugs to stitch of a night.........
the irises are in mass display and look amazing in front of the white cherokee rose............
a neighbours wheat crop is just about to turn...........
the storms have started for the season.........loved the little "snow caps" on top of the clouds...........something different was going on with the winds up there......

Catch you later.....

Amazing how those little bugs get through the screens isn't it?
We have thousands of little butterflies at the moment. I'm sure there aren't usually this many.

It is so lovely to see a crop in such fine fettle. I feel so much for the farmers in NSW who have had theirs ruined by the flooding. :(
It is indeed the country of droughts and flooding rains. Dorothea McKellar's poem should be drilled into kids' heads and reflected upon. Especially by policy makers and town planners. Just saying.
As for the flowers, how lovely are they? It's a shame that in the suburbs that gardens have less flowering plants in favour of succulents and palms. Where can the bees get what they need?

Those cloud formations are amazing, Chooky! And your irises are gorgeous. My little ones are in full bloom now and the big ones are just about to open.

Sorry to hear you are being "bugged" at night. I'm at the opposite. We don't have a lot of those left, except on Sunday night, a mosquito pay me a visit. Imagine a mosquito in October, in Canada! Your pictures are wonderful. So much space. You can see for miles and miles. Fantastic! Thanks for sharing. ;^)

Oh, I could stare at clouds all day. While is Tasmania, we had some beautiful days with cloudy skies and I was in my element, taking pictures...
