Lucy2 and flowers again......

Let's be clear first up these flowers are NOT in my garden.........with just about no water my garden is looking very dead and I have lost lots of plants this year........ It makes me so sad but it just won't rain.......
These are in gorgeous parks in the garden city.......I'll post some more from the good camera in a few days but these are just from my phone......
The angry sky was in my travels..... Even got some hail for a bit of that patch of travel.......
Another Lucy done and some more prep also...... Once again these are probably Lucy 2 of which I got the backgrounds so that will hopeful make some progress soon......
Catch you later.....
Chookyblue.....

What a shame about your garden - I hope you get rain soon. The gardens you visited though are stunning, must be a breath of fresh air after all the brown. Lovely Lucy. xx

Heel mooie tuinen op de foto's.
Bij jullie is het droog en warm nu. Hier zijn de eerste herfst buien, heel veel regen gehad deze week.
Een mooi blok gemaakt.
Fijn weekeinde Groetnis Annie

How lucky for you to see the garden city at this time of year. We've never been up there at the right time to see them in full bloom.

Would't it be lovely to have those flowers in your garden! I know they wouldn't grow in mine though.... not just because of the lack of water - I am a terrible gardener!! xx

It would be so lovely to have a personal garden filled with all those gorgeous blooms! Your new Lucy block is so pretty...wow, you have been busy to have so many done already.

Your Lucy blocks are stunning. I haven't got around to No. 1, let alone a No. 2. LOL. Lovely gardens. We got home from England last week to find our garden as dry as a bone. A wonder anything survives in this climate.

A beautiful opportunity to stop and smell the flowers 😊 Always a gorgeous time in the Garden City.
Sad that that sky was no more than a teaser.

Hope you get some rain, for your garden, and of course for the farm. Look forward to seeing your Lucy quilt (s) when they are done. Have just quilted one for a lady in our group.

The carnival of flowers is a spectacle in such contrast to what is really going on with the weather.
