Trying to make sure I catch 10mins of machine sewing each day...... That's over an hour each week and this morning the 10 mins stretched out to over 30mins in patches between getting ready for work...... If things are ready to sew which they are you can get quite a bit done in this time.
Googy girl and I have challenged each other to grab 10 mins a day on the machines...... You can join us if you like...... Just post on your blog and be accountable to yourself...... But we can try and keep each other motivated....... When working full time and it's stinking hot in the Chookshed its hard to stay on track....... But I sure feel motivated after the sewing marathon......
I'm also trying to fit in 10 mins of walking since I am off track with that......
Catch you later......

Sounds like a good way to keep motivated, good luck..
I need the walking more then sewing ....
I do a "Suffer for 15" thing, I work for 15 minutes on something I think is boring or never-ending (like scanning photos onto the computer) It's really amazing how much you can get done in such a short time! I'm going to do that with EPP this year, although like you I expect i ill spend longer on that one!
You are a super quilter! That is a great idea.... 10 minutes at a time on most needlework will accomplish lots...I should try it with my tatting.
Every bit counts....it's a good goal.
Ich drücke dir die Daumen, dass das klappt!
I wish I could set asid 10 minutes for me, sewing and family. It's areal dream
Good on you. I think I need to do 15mins of ironing a day to catch up first. LOL. I did spend about that length of time tidying and sorting fabric for my blue sampler quilt this morning. I suppose that is something. Tomorrow I may cut sashings etc. I do have enough of the stripe for the binding. It may not be sewing as yet, but it is progress.
A great idea
Those 10 minute blocks of time will add up to making a good amount of sewing Chooky... good on you!
Good for you! Ivemanaged to get the walking back in - has to be early with this heat and I'm guessing it would have to be the same for you as too hot in the arvos! Most of stitching at present is hand stitching but it won't get done if I don't pull it out!
That is such a great challenge. I started with 15 minutes a day many years ago. I am so addicted now I am up to over an hour each morning before work. Of course this usually means I have to be in bed by 9:00! Good for you!
I find you can achieve so much in 10 minutes. I do a ten minute tidy through the house, picking up everything in a laundry basket and returning the bits and pieces to their rightful homes. Fold a basket of laundry in 10 minutes or under. Sort and put another load of washing on...its neverending! :)
Great idea! I was thinking I need to schedule in some sewing time!
Such a great way to get motivated! Good luck x
what a great idea
i remember when i worked full time; keeping the machine up and at the ready was the key to getting in snippets of sewing time...oftentimes frustrating but soothing at the same time...keep plugging...it won't always be this way
This is a great challenge! I have so many little squares cut and sitting in piles on my cutting table - they've been there for months!I'm going to give this a go. I don't really like sitting at the machine but 10 minutes can be fun!
