Group project..........

    So the optional group project at Scrub Stitchin' this year is the Moda Love quilt this year...........

I have three of these quilts..........two I made and one I helped Fairy Girl make........

The pattern is great and goes together pretty quickly...........

You can use a layer cake (10" squares), Charm pack (5' squares) or a mini charm pack (2.5" squares)

I will be making the mini charm quilt which will finish at 12"

 Well the days are counting down for Scrub Stitchin' and our first international visitor is on her first leg.............the little red plane is Gail taking off from the USA.............

I am so excited and there is only 28 sleeps until Scrub Stitchin'

The silence is due to town work..........its been crazy busy......and i've worked most weekends and longer shifts.......but this gorgeous sunrise was the reward for the early start one day.........

With the days closing in for autumn it's dark when I have been heading home mostly...........

BUT

It sure as hell does not feel like autumn and summer is flexing her muscles this weekend with a little heat wave 🔥

the next few days are 38-39 maybe 40..........
