Group project..........

So the optional group project at Scrub Stitchin' this year is the Moda Love quilt this year...........

I have three of these quilts..........two I made and one I helped Fairy Girl make........

The pattern is great and goes together pretty quickly...........

You can use a layer cake (10" squares), Charm pack (5' squares) or a mini charm pack (2.5" squares)
you can find the pattern here Moda Love
I will be making the mini charm quilt which will finish at 12"

What do you think...........do you want to play????
For those not at Scrub Stitchin' you could sew along at home.......
stinking hot day here again today.........
currently hiding in the Chookshed chatting on zoom again.......
Catch you later.........
Chookyblue.....

Great idea for a group project - this one has been on my wishlist for a while :-) I'm starting to accumulate a pile to pack!

I'd love to join in, but will have to be at home. They both look lovely. Cooler here now, but the weather is still strange for Autumn. Take care & hugs.

No fair, I missed zooming.
I have my mini charm pack already selected and put aside with some coordinating fabrics.

Lovely quilt. The link won't work. I would love to hand piece a 12" one.

Wow I missed zoom as well and kept checking my email all day. Would have been in deep need of a zoom session as well. Will look for my little charm packs.

Zoom just didn't fit in for me this time sadly.
Will check out the link and find some fabric to suit so I can join in.

Wonderful quilt, glad you have the cool Chookshed to escape to! Sorry to have missed the Zoom stitching, it has been a bit busy here lately.

Was so glad to get in on a little bit of the Zoom! Thank you, I needed that!
IF I have my churn dash top all finished by the time you host Scrub Stitchin', I will make this my new UFO project, since I already have the fabrics cut and marked and boxed up with the pattern. ;)

I just put this pattern on my desk for next to do! I printed it when they had first posted it I love the simplicity of the block but how it changes with the color values.
Yours looks fantastic I do have a layer cake that has to get some sunshine (out of the cupboard) and this may be the next quicky I put together inbetween the hand work.
Love it great minds think alike
On another note so glad you got to scrub stitch and sorry I missed the zoom!

Sorry I missed the zoom party but I found the link after I got home from Germany last week. Has it really been a week since we came home? Only 5 more sleeps before my Sweetie and I lift off for nearly 3 weeks Down Under. Running around doing all the last minute details like getting International Drivers Permits, insurance, sleeping mask, device plug-in thingy since my daughter accidentally took mine home with her. See you soon!!!!!!!
