Toss up between 1 and 4 cos I love a sunset but I think 4 just edges it as a photograph! Sewing backings on some Field Journal embroideries and hooking away at a blanket. Off to Cornwall on Friday so that's my favourite destination at the moment. xx
That sunset is my fave. Love that time of day.
I've been procrastinating, have new scrubs half made, I've sewn a few 2 inch hexies and today I picked up my quilting machine, she is back on the frame, look out for a quilted churndash. If I stop procrastinating that is. LOL
I choose #1...and dream holiday destination? Norway in summer of course!
Number 3 - love those hills just peeking out! Just finished knitting a jumper, so back to hand piecing-diamonds now. Holiday destination.....well, there is a lot of Australia that I haven't seen, and I could go back to Canada in a heartbeat as well.
Number 1! They are all lovely but I love the evening time of day.
Well, you'll have to see my blog post to see what I did on the sewing thing.
Dream destination? The one that is pie in the sky? A trip to Australia. Dream as in favorite thing to do on any given day holiday? A drive to the lakeshore here, anywhere in Michigan. A road trip anywhere is welcome but Michigan is beautiful so anywhere here would do nicely.
My favourite is number 1. I haven't done any sewing this week and my dream holiday destination is Norway. I have never visited but it is somewhere I would love to go. Christine xx
I am surprised that #2 the rainbows are not everyones favorite--me--I love all of them!!! as for a holiday trip--I would love to go west/north of here to an area where I have 3 blog friends and spend a day or two and meet them in person!! I am getting ready to hand baste 3 small wall hangings for hand quilting--but first need to do some housework--grrrrr!!!!!
hugs, di
All of the shots are gorgeous, but I am a sucker for a colorful sunset any day! Number one gets my vote. No surprise there.
Haven't been sewing. Just got back from my cruise a couple of days ago, and immediately got sick. Hope to work on a little something this afternoon, if I have any energy.
My dream holiday would be one of two places--a trip to Ireland and Scotland, or a trip to New Zealand and Australia. I guess that is four places, but I figure if I ever get that far, I may as well make the most of it.
Hi Chooky
My favourite is the sunrise.
I've been madly trying to finish off two quilts to the hand hemming stage because my renos are starting soon and I won't be able to sew.
My dream holiday destination is your place - wide skies and 360 degree panorama - lovely!
Happy sewing to all.
Such beautiful photos... I have too much to think about so I'll just enjoy the pics :) xx
Number 1 is my favourite.
This week I have been finishing up a Churn Dash quilt I was given, it will go to the Oncology ward next week.
Holiday destination - I don't really have a dream destination, but I would like to go to Bali and learn how to make batik or go to Hawaii and learn Hawaiian quilting - I guess that is a dream!!
I seem to be bucking the trend. My favourite photo is the reflections with the full moon rising. Sewing wise, I’m still slowly plugging away with my Blue Quilt, appliquéing EPP borders. I’m also slowly knitting another beanie - something I can pick up quickly. As for a dream holiday destination…. I asked Mick and he said “Not Bali, but anywhere west of the Blue Mountains”. For me at the moment it would be more of South Australia and Western Victoria. There is so much more down that way I would love to see.
Probably #1 is my favourite, though I love the rainbows 🌈 too.
Sewing….finally finished the double sided dinosaur quilt…now finishing another baby quilt…some other random bits.
Dream holiday? Mmm I have no idea really.
1 is my favourite. I've been sewing a little cylinder-shaped pouch. Dream holiday destination used to be Japan but now I've been three times, so don't know. Some unknown destination where everything is lovely and I feel really pampered at the hotel (and NOT Australia with nothing trying to kill me or eat me or sting me!!!!!)
Number 1....
Been busy finishing Chain Links and spend all weekend working at our Quilt Hanging.
Number one is stunning.
I dream of sewing but there s not much time for it these days plus we had an unexpected heatwave just as I was getting ready to cozy up for Autumn. Too hot in my sewing room even if I did have time.
Still x stitching though!
Have to go with number 2, the rainbow as it reminds me of God's promises. Can't say I am sewing anything at the moment, it's just not on my radar!? My dream holiday destination is to travel around our great country in the caravan, which is on our bucket list. Lots of things to think about in my life at the moment. Hope you are now distracted enough.
Love the house sunset best closely followed by the rainbow. Holiday? What's that? Lol. Actually, I would love to go back to the UK. I am looking forward to a small holiday visiting my youngest daughter's new apartment when she moves in uptown. A couple of nights will be wonderful. I will just be grateful for some sleep and better health so I can actually have a bit of a life lol.
Sunsets are always pleasing but I love that little bit of moon peeking out too. If I could go anywhere I would like to get back home to Newfoundland and Labrador...I am five provinces away here in Ontario. And a dream destination would be Ireland to visit my family roots.
You're making me choose! Only One? Well, I'm fond of #3 just because I sat on that dam and stargazed with you! I'm not sewing--boo hiss--very bad girl! Dream vacation--well I had one this year and next year it's Norway, Sweden, Iceland and Denmark!
All of them. Sewing has been on the backburner just lately, lost some of my mojo, but hopefully it will return as I've a couple of quilts to quilt for a lovely lady I've just seen in Adelaide. Wish me luck. Dream holiday?.............seeing our family in UK. Best go and do some catching up on washing after our time away. Take care & hugs.
