Major crisis averted......

Thank God for Sonia....... I had searched high and low in the lounge room and Chookshed......
Not once but twice........ Seriously looking and starting to stress that I had lost some of Lucy.......
I text Sonia as I was sure I had it when she was here.....she suggested the design wall......
I went straight out and there it was ......
Now my design wall is big and this is all that was on it and I didn't even see it...... Seriously back to being a lounge lizard, even watching a movie "Lion" and hope my brain returns....... Obviously when your not well you 'have a boys look'......
So relieved......
In between emailing these pics and starting the post I watched the movie.......
I've been listening to the book reading by Saroo Brierley A Long Way Home  each morning on ABC radio.........I saw the movie version called LION in the shops the other day so brought it..........what an amazing story........I had heard a 1 hour conversation on the ABC but OMG to watch the movie.......I spent 1/2 the afternoon crying...........but so pleased I watched it.....
Catch you later....
Chookyblue.....

Hee hee had to laugh at your boys look!!! That happened all the time in our house with the two sons!! So good you found Lucy, hiding in plain sight huh!! Hope you are feeling good soon.

You are a brave girl to admit to your missing blocks. Glad they turned up. We are listening each morning as well. I found that the little supermarket down on the corner from us has a DVD hire vending machine with $2 Tuesday, so last week we borrowed it. I also spent a fair bit in tears, much to Mick's amazement. I'm so pleased to have seen the movie, but we are really enjoying the book. So much more detail. I wonder how many more mornings we have to go? I'm guessing a few month's worth yet.

I was on my laptop and left you a comment and then the internet cut off, so will try again. Glad you found the "missing" Lucy. And this week I have read The Long Way Home, and would love to see the film. An Amazing story.

Oh boy does that sound like me. Not sure why it is that I can find any item lost by someone else, but when it comes to what I'm looking for I am suddenly blind. You are brave for watching Lion. Maybe I'll take it to retreat next month so I can have someone to cry with. Hope you feel better soon.

Glad you found your blocks, Chooky - that would have lifted your spirits. I read Lion a while back - what an emotional read and truly amazing story. Took Rosy to see the film while she was back from China earlier this year - my girl is very proud to be the only Tasmanian in our little family. Our hankies got a big workout and I reckon there wasn't a dry eye in the place.

We are all guilty of a boy's look every now and then. Glad you found them. They're so pretty. I haven't seen nor read Lion. I always try to read the book first. I can't imagine - such an incredible story.

So happy you found your blocks. It's a wonderful movie - I first saw Saroo and his mothers on "60 Minutes" - such a heartbreaking story with an incredible ending.

That’s the reason I don’t have a design wall ;-) I hope your sore throat will be better soon! I looked up the book and the movie. The review makes me really curious!

Know the feeling of "losing" some Lucy. I misplaced a box of Lucy, took me days to locate her.

Your Lucy is coming along fabulously. Envious in a good quilty way.
