Farm Stuff with visitors.............

With so much happening lately I have not had any time to sew. So you will have to endure a farm - tune out now if you find it boring - badluck. Lots of people enjoy these posts.

Even when Jodie came to visit we didn't get to sew but I did show her some of the farm stuff............we have been making hay and here are some pics from the hay carting which was on when Jodie was here.........

loading the hay trailer......

the girls tried to push one of the bales with no luck........a whirly wind in the distance on some farming country nearby............stacking the hay at home for now..........we will put it in the haystack later.......to many hay fires this year (none for us thankgoodness)

As Jodie and I like taking pics we went over to the dam for sunset...........we had great clouds in the sky for the day but the sunset was very boring - my shilouette of Jodie is about the best....lol....the sad part is we had great sunsets the days before and after............

next post probably more farm stuff............like I said we are busy at the moment...........

.....take care.........

I love the farm photos. Being a city girl I know so little about life on a farm, and even lass about farming in Australia. Thanks for the lessons.

Your photos could make anythuing interesting- seriously , you could probably post pics of your big toe and we'd all still read.
Hope things calm down a bit for you soon.

You KNOW I love seeing your side of farming!
What kind of hay? We do grass hay and wheat hay. It looked dry.

Just curious. Love the pictures.

Love to see the pharm photos Donna! Especially the graphic ones with the hay! Gorgeous.
OMG that’s what you call working like crazy. So much to do on a farm.
Your cards are wonderful. Enjoy your gifts!

Great pictures...
My mum and dad wraps the hay in plastic into large white "eggs"...A lot of peple make jokes about all the large coweggs on the fields...;D Do you use that technique in Australia too?

Great pic and I think Jodie looks like she is playing the bag pipes at sunset.

Is the hay completely dry before you bale it? Here it is not and is packed in plastic!

Make hay while the sun shines Chookyblue! Your farm shots are equally as magnificent and interesting as other ones. Loved it!

Seeing your pictures - I can almost smell the hay. Reminds me of days on my grandmother's farm, as a child - when we kids would roll the square bales down into one long line for the fellas to pick up as they went by with the wagon. Thanks for bringing back a nice memory.
