Dear Thimbleanna
Since you've been such fun with the virtual world tour I thought I should show you a little here..............well since by the time we get back to Australia and reach my place you will be exhausted you better stay awhile and I can show you around the farm............see you never quite know what you may find.........there will be yabbies on the menu but not this mumma...........we often find some with eggs and put them back into the dams but this mumma had little bubbas just ready to hatch out.............we have never ever seen one like this..........(zoom in on the photo if you can)
and the same day Bookworm found an extra on his way to collect the eggs.............his is cute isn't he.............and he was a little friendly turtle poking his head out to say hi..........he was promptly delivered back to the creek.............(about 15-20cm long)
There is lots of cow poops to avoid driving on the road out...........
the traffic gets heavy at times but please be patient............they will do more damage to your car then you want..........
and say hi to the emus on the way past.............
this is the closest thing to a mountain near by and it isn't very big...........
can't show you the bedroom as it is a bit of a mess at the moment but I promise to have it cleaned up before I leave and it will be ready for when you arrive..............quilt shops are at least 1.5 hrs away.........so a day trip if you want to go to some..........I am sure we could fit some sewing in and you could use Fairy girls sewing machine
See you soon Chookyblue...............

I thought your travels were great Chooky, but you had me for a little bit! I'm interested in the blog books.
lol.... I can't believe your sister thought you were actually going! You crack me up Chooky.... I did think about taking some pics around here... but just wasn't inspired!
LOL Some people actually thought you were for real? I had great fun visiting some of the people who asked you to visit them and will one day get around to blogging a little more about what you would find here.
Love the idea of your world tour....and that your sister thought you were really going...you would be away for a while as well......!! You would have been like Santa...covering the whole world!!...perhaps you should deliver all the SSCS parcels if you run the swap this year! ...now there's a thought!!
I just love crazy! It is one of my best things! (So is reading all the words, so I knew what was going on. Still planning a post. In my spare time? It may never happen, lol! If it does I'll email you a link!)
What fun! Well, you'd always be welcome here!
Haha..... I guess they missed the "virtual" bit?! ;) Of course my place isn't just for the virtual tour! Come any time! You didn't see any pigs, or roos the day you took the photos?? Bound to be some of them as well!!
I must admit, you had me going for a minute there too Chooky ;o). I'll be joining you in posting about where I live ... just want to get some piccies first ;o).

Joy :o)
Hey Chooky,
I'm loving your world tour...sounds like so much fun....you and anyone else that you pick up before Melbourne are welcome here (I'll have to do a little rearrange with the family...but hey that's no trouble)....and as for crazy people...the more the merrier I say!!!!
Great way to see the world and get to know more blogging buddies...
see you soon (maybe...)

Not lot of interesting pics to take in Ipswich unfortunately at the moment. It's been raining & everything is muddy. hey i thought it was fun doing a "virtual"world tour. :) Hugs, Jeanette
I really enjoyed your blog tour of your farm. I am sure Thimbleanna will love visiting you too!
Hello Donna, I am so in awe that you have your very own turtles. So cute. Have a great day.
Bev.
Glad you are not eating the mother yabbie. I love your journey...and we all need to relax and have a little joy in our lives!
Aren't you a Sweetheart! I'd love to have some of your beautiful cards -- what an honor!
That's hysterical about your sister! And Oh. My. Gosh! It looks fantastic where you are! Who needs to drive to the quilt shops -- I say we spend ALL day outside enjoying nature and let the mailman deliver the fabric. I'd LOVE to see your turtles, cows, emus and catch yabbies. I'm crossing my fingers that it will really happen some day! ;-)
Hey Donna! Just popped in to tell you that the Toowoomba stopover in your World Blog Tour has now been posted about ... lots of photos, so make a cuppa first! Tee! Hee! Hee! Thanks for the fun! Bear Hugs! KRIS
Congrats on your Cinderberry win!!! WooHoo how exciting!
Love your virtual tour, thanks for sharing. What state are you in?
I have posted the virtual tour from my home :)
Maybe you really could go one day and Anna could visit you. In the meantime, the virtual visits are fun and I'm enjoying the tours.
I call it "Cow Patt Slalem" on our roads when the cattle have been.
I've been thinking about the blog books so I'd love the email please.
JPB - Chooky Blue you had better set everyone straight ... they think you're sister is stupid. Little sister offended :( I hope you have a great time in 'Sewing Land' - I hope you get to start or maybe even finish my handbag (2 year old project), my peg bag (1.5 year old project) or maybe even my quilt (6 month old project). Maybe you might surprise me and send it all home with Annie!! Love sis xoxox
P.S. I am not holding my breath
Congrats on your win from Cinderberry!
Ahh Chooky, what a delightful tour..I bet you had a few going on your previous post...lol....I hope to take some pics of my hometown tomorrow....hugs lyn
