Citrus Squares...........

the final post from our retreat ...........
yummy chocolate desert Nicole cooked.............
oh this was devine...............mushroom, sweet potato chips and steak with blue vein cheese on top..............
I was playing with the quilting on this quilt..............I put the top together on the weekend and wanted to get most of the quilting done too...........
I even got the binding attached and most of it stitched down on the Sunday after noon.............
I needed the machine to join the ends of the binding and attach it to the quilt but there's no power at the cows so it had to wait and I have still been to busy to get it finished but it is all but done............
the range is "Dream On" by Urban Chiks (I pulled out all the pinks and blues for another quilt)

I keep thinking of citrus when I look at the oranges, lemons and limes in this quilt...........so I have called it "Citrus Squares".........will probably go to my new niece............
EDIT UPDATE this quilt went to my sister Catherine......
Happy birthday to Kerry she is having a big birthday today...............she's been celebrating for a week now.......head over and wish her happy birthday........
Catch you later..............
Chookyblue
PS It's a miserable damp day here.............very chilly..........stay warm.............

I love the colours, very fresh and happy. Hmmm, I am now craving chocolate pudding, perhaps when our visitors arrive in two days time, so I just blow my diet once, not twice! Happy quilting Sue SA.
