900 and playing............

More time at the cows means more hands stitching.................
after seeing Janet's post with her fabulous fussy cut hexagons I decided to play with one once i had the others done that you'll see below..........
this is more the true colour and one of the little arrows is the same colour as the centre fabric.........
this is what i was working on with the diamond templates..........I have this one finished and I have 2 more stars minus the cream diamonds..........no idea really what they are to become yet...........
and the tiny baby hexagons - these are for a Marg Low pattern I am working on.............
that's a bobbin in the middle to put it all in size perspective.....
oh and a few posts back I missed it but I have just past 900 posts.........
....OMG where has that gone............
&&&&
hope you can find a warm spot if you live in south eastern Australia................it's not to bad here but some places have had some wild weather...........the next few days are going to be pretty cold for my area............

Catch you later...........Chookyblue

Oh My Goodness, Chooky, at first I thought by the title of the post, that you'd clocked up 900 hexie flowers!!!!....then I read on....you're paper piecing looks great and you're such a quick learner, you'll have a quilt in no time....yes we are bracing for some cold weather....and it is mighty windy too......

Congratulations on 900 posts! And still so much to say!!

Love the fussy cut hexagon - you fit it together so beautifully. It's great to have a hand project when you have to watch the cows - and just what are the cows up to that's so interesting??

Pretty cold over here in the West too... yet I still see these silly girls in short skirts and sleeveless tops! I was never that clueless! Of course, we actually had SNOW in winter...

Wow, I do love the orange and navy hexagon :) Staying at my sister's place in Perth Tassie - mountains are directly east and it is mighty cold here in the early hours of the morning. Have an extra blanket tonight, so am all snuggled in just reading blogs before I turn out the light. Snow looks gorgeous though!
