I hope and pray the weather forecasts are wrong, and/or it breaks soon and you don't have to go through that stretch of hell.

Will be thinking of you. Take care.

We are certainly in for a hot week ahead.
I got quite industrious today, cleaned out our bathroom cupboard, washed tablecloths and put away Christmas ones, completely put away all Christmas decorations and restored my mantlepiece to it's former, undusty glory (Yay!) and then I dead-headed my roses and weeded out the back garden. Pooped now as it has been hot and windy all day and we have smoke drifting in from a Victorian bushfire near Nelson. Smelling smoke on the air in not nice!

I hope your area is free from fire outbreaks and that you can stay cool in this wicked heat.

Cheers - Joolz

Yes,nature has its own way of stirring things up! Praying for you so rain will set in soon. Meantime hope you don`t have water-restrictions at your end so all animals survive. All the best for a change of weather soon:-)

Stay cool Chookyblue. Life is hard in suburbia with temps like that, hope it all goes well for you on the farm. Thinking of you!!! (Gosh I love Melbourne weather. We have had the heat, but very little of it.)

Keep safe and as cool as you can, Chooky. We had a few horrible days last week here in Ballarat - I HATE hot weather - the weekend has been great but it's hotting up again next week. Bah humbug!

Nature can be severe at times. Hoping for cooler weather your way and some rain too. Take care.

Sounds awful - got to feel sorry for the animals too - they can't get into the air conditioning. I think most of eastern Australia needs rain and a drop in temperature.

Hope you manage to keep cool....stay safe.....thinking of you! (which of course does nothing to help with receding dams and heat - but you know we all love you!)

That weather will wear you out in no time - we are expecting 40+ tomorrow. That's a bit drastic for the Gong.

Oh wow, I really hope it cools down soon and you get some rain! We don't even get your minimum temperatures here for more than maybe a couple of days in the summer (I am dreaming of a summer without 12-15C and rain....)
But 42 is just waaaayyyyyy too hot!

That is a very toasty week. Thinking of your animals too, as they try to find shade.
My daughter lives at Goodooga and is finding this year rather trying with keeping 2 littlies happy and comfortable.
Rain would be wonderful.
