1200 random thoughts.......

Yep that's how many random thoughts I have shared in posts here with you.........
Below are some pics from the weekend...........a big morning calf marking..........I was reloading the ear tag pliers...........the boys were working very fast and I was kept very busy loading the 2 sets..........
I struggled to get pics as it was very busy and this one was taken of the last pen full...........the best sight of the day...........the job nearly done.............
Thanks to everyone who has visited my blog over the time............especially those who have commented  it's the interaction that makes this whole blog thing so much more fun..........
And if your a lurker there reading it's never to late to start blogging and yes you will find things to say and post about..........obviously I have managed it although doubting very much when I started that anyone would ever read what I have to say...........you have proved that wrong...........
THANKYOU
So in celebrating 1200 posts what would be a memorable random thing/photo I have mentioned on my blog.....something odd I have said or shown............
Catch you later

Dear Chookyblue...how have I loved thee blog...let me count the ways! I love the way you share your farming life and your stitching life...all the time encouraging others in so many ways...you have taught us blog skills, given us Santa swaps and stitchalongs! One of my favourites, besides the fabulous photos, would be the story of curly pops!

That's a lot of random thoughts! LOL I really enjoy everything about your blog, but I most enjoy the pictures of your life there, the animals and the scenery. It's nice to get to see another part of the world, even though I can't travel there. :0)

Thats a tough question - only one odd thing???? LOL
I love the "farming" bits & pieces - its a real eye opener sometimes for those who have it pretty easy in the 'burbs of a major capital city - even Brisbane!!

Yay!!! 1200 posts. I've enjoyed following along so much. From the posts about your girls days in the country, the animal posts, the beautiful photos, the sew alongs, the swaps and my personal favorite - your imaginary trip to visit us all a few years ago, it's always a pleasure and a bit exciting to see you have a new post. Thanks for facilitating so much quilty and bloggy bonding around the world!

Odd? Well it's all a bit odd. By which I mean interesting. :-) As our lives and locations are so different. Thank you for sharing. I really enjoy all your random thoughts.

Congratulations! Thank you for your real life blog....thanks for sharing the ups and the downs. I liked the story in the drought when the kids were covered in mud at the dam. I am now unable to type multiple full stops without thinking of you........and of course without your encouragement I wouldn't be the blogging addict I am today.

Congrats on the 1200... shows that you enjoy being part of the blogging community and that you are happy to share your creations, disasters, farm life, good times & bad with those of us who visit here.
Your techno posts are especially to me, easy to understand & friendly wording.

Wow - 1200!! You sure do a lot of talking!! LOL
The funniest thing I remember (it wasn't on your blog, just about your blog) was that lady from the city you met at the Craft Show and when she realised who you were, she said -"oh you are the one that puts all those weird farm photos on your blog"!! LOL
The thing I like best about your blog is your encouragement to others, whether it is about crafting or computers.
Love ya!!

I love your mix of farming life and craft. Also your blogging and techie tips. Your posts about the fires really touched my heart, (also stressed me as I was concerned for you all). Thank you for your sharing and here is to another 1200+ post. hugs

I now live "on the land" and my other half works with cattle.. I always feel so sorry for the newborn calves when they are ear tagged... as I fainted when I had my ears pieced MANY years ago.. so I wonder how a poor calf feels when a much larger hole goes thru its ear!.. yes I am a whimp!

Excuse me! What is all this sentimental stuff all those other 'blog weirdos' (stealing Peg's term) are raving on about? These are my Chookyblue highlights:-

* That it means that I can keep in touch with what your up to even when we don't have time to chat on the phone AND I AM sure that you use mum's facebook password to 'check up' on me too.

* That you have made some amazing friends for you in this hugely timewasting but very pleasurable pastime.

* Loved it when the girls SURPRISED you with the quilts for you and Catherine. Ha Ha Ha! You were in shock for such a long time! What caring friends xx

* I love my new besties ... Hi Anita and Kate! Are you jealous??

* I LOVED the blogs created by me! I am SO FUNNY!!!! Even funnier that I was able to get 3 or 4 posts in before you realised!! Hi Mat Terial!

* Oh and I have a whole new appreciation for ............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................. YOU xxxxxx

Happy 1,200 post! Random is good! Well, so said to see Reader go. I did subscribe to newsblur. So far so good. However, one thing I found out is that they do not import all of reader's entries. Meaning that there is a limit to how many back entries they will import. Did you find that with Freedly? Cheers!

Wow 1200 posts! congratulations!! thats a lot of random thoughts... thanks so much for all the inspiration whether it be crafty or taking great photos or technical hints or becoming a better blogger it's all amazing thank you!... I loved the photo of you sitting by your beautiful water view, (the dam), in the shade with a glass of bubbly... enjoying life!
Well done!.....looking forward to the next 1200....

That's a heck of a lot of random thoughts to share and all of them interesting too. Well done. I won't be forgetting that weird lizard creature that you seemed to think was normal or the pic of your darling son sort of swimming in mud or poor Curly Pop and her prolapse problem or stitching while watching cows on the road... I could go on... and on... and on...but I won't. I'll just say thanks for a real insight into Aussie Farm Life with lovely stitching and qulting thrown in for good measure. I raise my glass to you... hic! :o) Hugs...

I have to say one photograph I remember most is the picture of bookworm swimming or should I say slithering in the mud of the dried up dam. Perhaps because I think its wonderful the way country kids can make the most of the hardest times ..like drought and find their own fun.

So many posts, I'm sure they weren't all random! Some of the most memorable posts I recall were of all your EPP in the car while keeping an eye on your cows. I remember flasks of hot drinks, even a glass of bubbly or two, and making the best of a difficult situation. I love seeing another kind of farming life so different to mine, congratulations on your 1200th!

Congratulations! I rarely comment (don't really know why that is) but I love reading your blog. For my American ears I love hearing the Aussie phrases you have...sparrow's fart being one of the more memorable ones for me. Also your photos of the animal life there is a delight and just so exotic. Life events have made me pause in my blogging and I mean to get back at it so perhaps I need to get serious and just do it!
