The last day in Sydney (3 weeks ago today) we had a very special trip across the harbour.........thanks to someone I know..............
it doesn't matter what angle I take of the Opera House I love them all.........
North and South Head - the opening to the Sydney Harbour
Yummy lunch in Manly at the Ivanhoe Hotel............
A quick look at the ocean.........I hate sand so see I stayed on the steps......and it was cold.......
Heading back across the harbour.............
The city behind the Opera House.............
My friend's daughter where I stayed wanted to take us to San Churro's no matter what before we left Sydney............it was nice but been there done that now......
won't find anything like that out in the country........lol..........
so far removed from today's job which is mustering sheep and drafting in the dusty sheep yards which are being trucked out this afternoon for sale.................woohoo

It's always fun to see another side of life.......and can make you appreciate your own too.
Lovely photos of Sydney (it's my favorite city in the whole wide world;has been ever since we lived there for a couple of years a long time ago). And yes, it must be so different from your daily life. I'm sure it's good to go and breath some city air, but it must be good to get home again after also.
Lovely photos Chooky. I love going to Sydney. Went for one night last week, spent less than 24 hrs there though. Was a surprise for our best man and his 40th birthday. Could have stayed a lot longer.

What beautiful photos Chookyblue..feel so home sick now . . . You can take the girl out of Sydney but you can't take Sydney out of the girl. (not this one anyway)
What a beautiful day on the harbour..I always enjoy a ride on the ferry when I am back in Sydney..you certainly packed a lot into your days there.
It's nice to have a change of scenery now and then but home's best.
There's nothing better than playing the tourist on Sydney Harbour, particularly when the weather is so lovely. However, I must say I do like heading back across them there hills towards home again. Good luck with the stock sales.
I love the blue skies in those photos...great job...post card material...
