tooooooo many choices..............

thanks for the offers of binding for me.............would be good if I didn't have to post them off somewhere................i'll get it done at some stage..............
Peg told me I had to find "Chooky" and spend some time in the "Chookshed".............it took a couple of days and finally today after a couple of days attempts I found her............spent the whole day with her nearly not that I achieved much but it was good...........
not knowing where to start I pulled out the extra diamonds I got for the EPP quilt and started gluing some papers.........
Susan @ Oh 2 Sew told me to make 3 blocks in the next week.......
I got one done the other night...........maybe another one tonight...........
See this is part of the problem..........so many things poking there heads out in the chookshed.......these are a few.............binding on "The Deep Blue Sea", charm pack, Lynettes bag, the left overs from a Anka's Treasures quilt who knows where the blocks are at the moment but the fabrics are calling, a cute zipper bag pattern Jan @The Little Red Hen gave me, left overs from my Nundle quilt, a new foundation piecing thing I want to try, a quilt on the design wall, more bits of blue for the EPP quilt - Lea@Fairy Floss Stitches scraps she sent me, and a couple of baskets of EPP projects............there are many more bits too...........
&&&&
Anyway hope your enjoying the weekend..........real hint of spring here.....today was glorious.......t-shirt all day...........the days are getting longer which is nice...........after the rain there are a few blooms happening too which is great.........so much to share need to organise it all into some posts...........
Catch you later

Very happy you got to spend time sewing, it didn't matter that it wasn't as much as you wanted. Any time sewing is good. Hugs.....

Great to see you made it to the chookshed and you've achieved some sewing - every stitch takes you closer to a finish xx

I think we all have a chook shed that's full of half finished projects, the problem is there is so much to attract our attention and such little time to finish it all. Thank goodness that spring is on the way, as they say "make hay while the sun shines" xxx

LOL - blame me - I can take it!!!
I think we all have the same problem - lots of things not finished - things we want to finish and not so much time. Make a list - prioritise them - or if that doesn't work - write each one on a piece of paper and throw them in a bucket- when you get to the chookshed - pull out a piece of paper and work on that...well its just an idea...
You did a huge job on those EPPs.

If only we could get extra time with new patterns, wouldn't that be handy. You have lots of beautiful projects to choose from.

I think there are many of us in the same boat when talking about our stash of projects. I keep telling myself that I'm stocking up for retirement when I won't be able to buy as much. Sounds like a good enough excuse to me. LOL

I think you should get one of the kids to place all of those projects randomly on a table while you close your eyes and then point. Start with that one and see how you go. It's hard to decide with so many nice things on the go.

I know how you feel. I can not do much yet but decided to plan my winter in front of the TV project by ordering some wool to go with what I have.
It is the opposite for us here, evenings are slowly drawing in and there is a bit of a nip in the air once the sun has gone. Hat, scarf and gloves soon no doubt.
Many thanks for your lovely comments after my hand op, much appreciated.

Love your little pile of EPP blocks. Looks like we are all in the same boat with projects left undone. I definitely needed to get some oldies finished. Enjoy your t-shirt weather x

Glad you got some 'me time', Chooky. I think we are all in the same boat, too many projects, too much fabric... I've been trying (and failing) to clean up my sewing room and am feeling a bit overwhelmed. BTW, I didn't mean to add to the load with that little pattern! I've had one of my own for at least 3 years and still not made - sigh.
