What's happening out there??????

Come on girls it's freezing cold so I have only been blog reading or sewing..........nothing esle achieved...........but no one is posting anything at the moment i'm up to date so come on girls get off the dark side and do a blog post............If you live in Australia and your on the eastern 1/2 really you would NOT want to be outdoors today..........
Working on a new bag for my hand piecing using my first hand pieced block........
knowing me it won't be finished today..........
Milly and Billy cannot find a warm spot at all today........I threw a scrap piece of fabric out onto the deck I felt sorry for them.............the wind sure is coming off snow today............
Now I am as flash as Kate @ Show and Tell.............Fairy Girl made me a surprise.....Mr Chooky helped with the tools........I have a new design wall...............94 inchs square...........previously I had a big sheet hanging up which worked but you had to pin everything.............so I stuck my Natures Journey blocks up to try and get inspired............the batting is the same colour as the walls so you don't even notice it.......
It's bleak outside.........
the sun has tried to shine once or twice for a couple of minutes at a time but just low cloud and freezing.............

Can you believe I have done 1600 posts.......
I LOVE BLOGGING.......

Catch you later...........

I know what you mean. I thought the blogs would be buzzing today, but it's very quiet. Great to have a design wall.....I need a wall first! Milly and Billy look like the lucky ones, it's so cold out there today.

It is also freezing AND WET, down here, in SE of SA, so I am inside by the fire, sewing some of my stuff today. Will do a blog post tonight when I hopefully have something to show for my day's effort.

Here we have summer and today it's 17-18 degrees Celcius. The sun is shining as well, so I enjoy the day outdoors doing a little bit of gardening. Some visitors have left; new will arrive in a couple of days. So no sewing at the moment. Your Natures Journey blocks look great! My June blocks should have been done, but I still hope to catch up at the end.

We just back from a short holiday in the snow and it is so cold at home that I am wearing my thermals brought for the snow trip! Perfect weather for quilting, loving your hand work and very green about your huge design wall - yeah for supportive hubby and kids!

The babies look happy sitting on the fabric, maybe they will be quilters when they grow up. The design wall looks fabulous and your quilt is coming along.

LOL! Our weather has been amazingly beautiful the last few days, so I've been outdoors - kayaking or spending time in a friend's pool. I hope you get some nice weather soon. In the meantime, enjoy sewing and keeping an eye on Milly and Billy! they're so cute.

Not sure what's the Dark Side... IG, or FB, or the little blue bird??
I've been too busy with closing down/emptying my sewing space so not much time for other things.
And the weather - yes the Eastern States have really copped it... YUK!

Oh you poor cold soul. at -9 it's too damn cold to do much here today, so I did a quick blog post, while I procrastinated!
Now I'm off to curl up under my crochet, in the sunny corner of the room.
Your blocks are looking very cute.

If you can send me some cooler air, I can send some warmth your way. My grandson had a football or what we call soccer today. The temperature was 95degrees F. I live in Conyers, GA, USA. We are 30 miles east of Atlanta. I enjoy your blog very much.
