Autumn where are you.............

Autumn Summer sure is wearing me down at the moment............our average temp for the last month is 36...........that includes 3 days under 35............yippee...........it's just been relentless............so consistently hot...........it's amazing what a a break a few cooler days around 30 can do to refresh you but  we just haven't had that.........even the nights are not cooling down..........your lucky if it's 20 -22 in the morning..........
The garden is doing well I suppose considering but the watering is just so constant...........yes I could let it go but in this weather it would die..............and when it is hot and horrible it is amazing how much better it makes you feel when you come home to the house and it is a a little green oasis.............everything outside the garden is frazzled and dry..............
Everyone is feeling a little frazzled at the moment too.........
Behind in my comments, reading blogs but not commenting..............
oh it will settle in a week or 2............
the good news is next Wednesday they have forecast 32........a cool change????
take care til next time.....
Chookyblue.........

Chooky if I had some cool weather I would send it your way. Must be exhausting for you, things are grim if 32 is a cool change. Hang on in there.

Hopefully a bit more of a change is on your way soon 32 is not much of a cool change :)

Do you have the expression "Dog days of Summer?" It's based on some star lore but around here it just means that last stretch of really hot days at the end of a really hot summer. It's exhausting. It's discouraging. Hang in the it can't last forever, right?

It has been very hot for a lot of us too... I think I prefer it rather than one day hot and the next freezing and wet... The garden would like some rain though

Even my grass here in Tas is dry and crunchy.....might be a little cooler but we need rain as well.

Yes it is very draining! It is amazing what a little green space can do for your well being. I am in bliss today...29°and a bit drizzly...you feel like a new person. Hoping your cool change arrives very soon for you xx

Daylight Savings doesn't make it any better either. Too hot to think straight.

I like the summer weather here and laughed when the 1st day of Autumn was in the low 30s. We haven't really had much of a real summer, only a couple of extreme hot days followed by cooler days. I can imagine you must be over it whete you are though. I just oredered 2 more LB blocks hehehe.

I agree when everything is dry and brittle your little oasis would be heaven! We are waiting for cooler days too, ours are 32-24

Your green patch is so worth saving and watering to give you some relief from the brown dry every where else!! We have a southerly blowing here now and slightly cooler air, hopefully some comes up your way soon.

A cool change certainly is more motivating, yesterday we had 42, and today is cooler, although humid, with touch of rain. I am ready for the cooler weather, although we have not had the heat that you have had.

The heat has been relentless. You've done well to keep your garden going. Bring on the cooler weather.

Soon here in Arizona USA our hot summer temps will be arriving so I do understand. Right now we are in a few cool days of 70's (F) but soon to return to the 80's then on to the over the 100 mark daily. Sending cool wishes your way....

Hasn't it been awful! To add insult, we've had days of humidity down here (Nth Vic) along with the unrelenting heat, yet no bl**dy rain so frustrating! And draining! Finally today it's a cool day at 28, and we copped a few showers, it's heavenly! Wishing for your cool change to show up (maybe early) and bring some decent rain with it too :)

This weather is just foul, isn't it?! Now we're struggling with humidity too - it was like walking through treacle on my walk today. Can't wait for Winter!
