Home alone........

Sadly i fed the girls a big beef casserole and steamed vegies and sent them on their way.............
but here's an update...........
Allie finished a gorgeous wool blanket.....lovely chunky wool.......
I sewed away today.........
Kate Cate@ Show and Tell and her projects.......she made a pile of the dresdans..........yet to add the yellow circles but one sitting here for the effect........
Jenny @ Bird on the Border made a baby's quilt..........
we got quiet a few designs boards made............
I missed a pic of Miss Jules project but she was busy on a lovely bright quilt.........
it has not rained again today except a few misty showers not really registering anything in the rain gauge.............it looked pretty bleak when they left............
it's a bit cool with the wind though...............but it's been a perfect weekend to be shut inside the Chookshed ............and for anyone on the east coast of Australia perfect to stay home indoors..............there had been massive rain in a huge area and the safest driest place to be is at home..............
all the extra machines are gone....the table looked very bare..........
but the upside I soon filled it up with my next block to piece..........
I'll leave you with one of my favourite pics from the weekend.........we took this one before Miss Jules arrived......Princess Kate Cate is the selfie Queen
I'll try and get around some of your blogs tonight or tomorrow........if you have been sewing with us but not linked up the linky post is here.........
thanks everyone for joining the fun..........lets see if I can get my quilt finished tonight.............
Keeping the love of blogging alive.....

It's always a bit of an anticlimax when something, which was anticipated for a long time, is over! But I'm sure you all had a wonderful time. Judging from those mouthwatering photos of the food you've spoiled your guest with, it was a success all around.

One year in Nundle I got the bunk bed and thought it was a bit hard for my precious body so we pulled the top mattress down and put it on the bottom....they all reckoned I was the princess and the pea so when I arrived at Choky's she had an extra mattress on my little single vintage bed so now that will stick forever Susan....LOL
Also I am Catherine with a 'C' and Kate with a 'K'(just like the future queen) I was saying that I wanted personalised number plates (24.KATE) but they are already gone but I can however have (24.CATE) so decided I might become a new me and spell my name Cate. Hench the reference's in Chooky's post...anything to pick on Kate.....LOl..... you know the drill.
