holey mother of god this would have hurt coming out.......
my chooks lay big eggs anyway..........but this double yoker is huge........
the one on the left 66 grams the right 100 grams..........
a polar fleece snuggly for a special boy..........

they have headed to there new home too...........the kids can drag them around the lounge room and so quick and easy to wash and dry when it's cold and wet...............
great as nice and snuggly warm........

Oh dear! I don't envy whoever has to dig that one out. At least you had some decent weather to do the washing. My washing machine died on Monday and can't be fixed, so ours is mounting up until the new one arrives next Tuesday. Have fun playing in the chookshed.

I often look at eggs and think the same thing....ouch!

Getting bogged is annoying but I guess the wet ground is still welcome. I hope the coming rain is spread where its needed and isnt a deluge!
I love polar fleece rugs. Both my girls big have them and drag them out for snuggling! :)

such a busy woman Chooky. But isn't that the best way? I know the word 'boredom' is definitely not in my repertoire. I like seeing pics of this sowing too.

My goodness that is a very big egg!

Yeowwch! That has gotta hurt! My little funky chickens ( silky bantams) lay really small eggs but they had big yolks and they laid heaps. They were long livers too. Have a good brief time away.

Yikes! Getting that tractor out of the mud can't be easy! Have fun away -- and then in the shed!

ha, ha, its been a long time since I saw a good photo of a bogged tractor. The thing is that Dad was always major cheesed off when something was bogged, but as kids we were super excited - no idea why, when I think about it now! So how is hubby taking the major inconvenience??
More rain here too, but slow and steady at regular intervals, you can feel the mood lift down the main street, the optimism is returning!

Rain is good! You have lots of catching up to do when it comes to rain! I love chooks! Sadly we may have to get rid of ours. We lost our battle in court because the court will side with the village despite the law being vague! Oh well, I'm tired of the drama ... I'll just live vicariously through your chooks! Catch you later! Cheers!

Oh no!! Least that means you have had really good rain. As they say... there is money in mud but no money in dust. Enjoy the wet weather.
