Willy update.......

Monday 9th about 6 pm
Wed 11th about 8 am (approx 36hr's later)  huge change

Thurs 12th about 7pm

It's hard to get pics as I am standing on tippy toes with my arm stretched high to reach the nest and I try to be quick so I don't upset them.......or more importantly the parents.... While they don't attack me omg they take on any bird who comes near there babies......

I had to go away for a night but Mr Chooky checked and they were still alive last night... They were out of the nest on the branch.....  They will be flying today when I get home.
Amazing the heat has not killed them..... M 39 Tu 42 W 43 Thu 43 F 44.......

Not sure how my garden will be when I get home as it was a windy 44 yesterday which sucks life out of everything.......

Catch you later......

Nature is so amazing. It is like watching the moon tide. You can see it changing before your eyes. Hope things cool down for you soon.

They grow so quickly, it won't be long before they fly. Fingers crossed they handle the heat.

Glad they survived the heat, not sure that I would be so chirpy!

Those birds develop quickly don't they. ..thanks for sharing . Hope they are ok with the heat, but being born this time of the year they should be prepared you would think. Wow,your weather is hot up there!! We had rain yesterday which was most welcome!!

Amazing how the birds and animals survive in the heat.
It is just so wonderful that you are able to watch them grow.

I love watching animals and birds in their daily life. We are in a built up area, although there is lots of bush around. Thanks for sharing these photos.

Glad to see those birds getting a good start, if they don't melt. Good luck keeping cool.

A lovely 29deg here today after 3 horrendous day (winds yesterday were awful). Sweet little Willy Wagtails - always such fun to watch and have around!

It doesn't take long for them to outgrow their nest. Here's hoping they all go well with their flying lessons.

I thought our heat was bad but nothing like yours! Hope your garden was ok when you got home to it. So good being able to watch the bird family grow. Your beefies from your previous photo look great - a good sign that they were too big for one buyer! We've been selling off surplus stock lately too - weaner calves - getting them off before it turns even drier.

Don't know how you stand that heat - I really shouldn't complain !

They're so cute. Hope they'll be fine. That's terrible heat. I hate anything above 35. Stuck inside. My wedding day was 44 degrees though.

Hope they all survive the heat. It has been ridiculous here as well. 45 degrees but got a nice storm today so things will cool a bit now. Keep Cool
